Wow! You have a list that I envy. Did Joe Tex perform this song? I laugh every time I hear it!A similar thread was started in 2022. Here's part of what I replied in that one. I removed the names of those who I saw in plays.
Just so happens I made this list in Google Docs about a year ago when I was trying to remember everyone I saw. Some of these acts were in concert together so that's why I got to see so many. I went to the Apollo Theater in Harlem, N.Y. a few times in my late teens and early twenties.

I've seen other artists who are well known in the region for their talents such as my dear friend Hunter Hayes of N.J. and Radam Schwartz, each several times. It is said that George Benson loved to go to The Crosswords where Radam headed Jazz Jam night just to "jam with Radam".![]()
That song hadn't been released yet when I saw him. One thing I do want to say is that Joe Simon was highly underrated. I was familiar with his songs before the concert but was astonished at how magnificent his voice was live!Wow! You have a list that I envy. Did Joe Tex perform this song? I laugh every time I hear it!
