Rose, it's difficult to look at that picture and think "flat"...:cool:
 
I remember and I also remember something else. There is a character in Tim Allen's "Tool Man" TV series whose face can only be seen from the top half because of his fence. I am sure it was inspired by Bazooka Joe's Mort whose face can only be seen from the top half because of his turtle neck sweater. And then, of course, we have Mr. Steinbrenner from Jerry Seinfelds TV series although that is taking the theme one step further.

For years Radio Shack was an excellent source for audio and computer paraphernalia.
And all you needed was a soldering iron and a steady hand.
I guess WalMart and Amazon drove them out of business. Is that how it was?
You're probably right. I left the US in 1975 and until you just mentioned it now I thought Radio Shack was still in business. :(
