2025 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Pushing thru the 30's F. - 40's F. to the 60's F. Monday. Yea! Spring
is pushing in. Ups and downs but warmer usually now. Awesome deal!
One week of Feb. left. Seemed like 1000 days of hell too.

12 noon CST here, Looks like that Mid Atlantic storm rotation CCW is brushing Ireland now, with sustained winds S.W. peaking near 65 MPH
southwest around 700 miles to sea. England shows sustained 14 mph SW winds surely to gain in strength as the days pass. Heavy rains / snows?

Forecast here 40's / 50's / 60's these three days ahead. 12 noon here Saturday afternoon.

4pm Sunday

IMG_0689.jpegThings to get hairy ! Atlantic forecast,
things gettin hairy, take care always. Stay indoors, away from window, put down Blankets and pillows and closet stuff inside. 3 days unpleasant.
This Atlantic storm is one big sucker! Looks Like N.Cal. especially Washington + Vancouver will get pounded too by major weather events.

We finally got a sunny, and much warmer day. I spent a couple of hours blading 6 or 7 inches of snow off the driveway. The nest few days look much warmer than what we've had for the past week, and we may even see 60F by this coming midweek.

Could be a powder day Monday, well maybe hot schmooo.......rain/snow line is very low for late February.

What a welcome change! A few days ago, we had about 7 inches of snow, and the temperatures plummeted....down as far as -15F. Yesterday, the sun finally came out with light southerly winds. Today, we are in the upper 50's, and may hit 60F several days this coming week. I hope this is the end of Winter!

Last night the program I was watching was interrupted with an avalanche warning. When I looked for an explanation, the biggest concern was avalanches of snow. I would not choose to go skiing right now.

In the valley, we are having a lot of rain. This is as it should be but we will be a little warmer than usual. Warm wet days encourage worms to come up and move around. This is great for the birds that eat worms.
