Did The CDC Just Admit Vaccines Don't Work? That's What It Looks Like

since the CDC has been stupidly slow to ramp up antibody testing.

Edit Note: I was just again asked the following question: If the vaccines don't work as was advertised, whey are they being pushed so hard? There is a sign atop my computer tower given to me by IBM in the days of Tom Watson that says "DENKE"
Well, we have found an area of agreement. The CD is terribly slow in getting testing done and assembling the statistics. And, after a year and a half there is no excuse for it. Just today I heard an interview with Dr. Gottlieb bemoaning the fact that we have to get a lot of badly needed information from the UK and Israel rather than gathering it ourselves. Just to rub salt in the wound, an acquaintace in the UK tells me he buys Covid tests to see if he has been exposed for about one Euro (about $1.20) a test. He tests his entire family once or twice a week.

OTOH, "If the vaccines don't work as was advertised, whey are they being pushed so hard?" Emphasis added by me.

I think the above statement starts from a false premise. The vaccines work very well as advertised. They were developed on information about the early forms of corona virus and they were very effective in preventing the Covid disease in people who got infected. They also reduced the threat of spreading the disease. There was never a claim of 100% effectiveness. In fact the virus had several new and more dangerous variants that the vaccine still did a good job of crushing. Not perfect, but good.

Now we have a new variant that is many times more infectious. The situation has changed quite a bit more than previously. The current vaccines are still very effective at preventing serious illness and death. But, they are not as good at preventing infections and spreading the disease. I don't agree that can be interpreted as not working as advertised.
My two cents.

Yep, they did. And now...

White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx has come out to say that ā€œthe scienceā€ has ā€œdone wrong in public health.ā€ Vaccine hesitancy rates have been rising since it was exposed that the mRNA vaccine did more harm than good. Birx has admitted that the COVID vaccine was never meant to be a preventative measure.
ā€œThe scienceā€ should not have forced the general population to take an experimental vaccination, Dr. Birx admits. The vaccine was initially designed, allegedly, to protect people ā€œat risk for severe diseaseā€ and/or those over 65 with comorbidities. Even then, the vaccine did not protect any segment of the population from transmission and infection. So the most vulnerable in the population were not only still exposed to COVID-19, but they were then at risk for developing potentially fatal side effects brought on by the vaccine itself.
A December poll by Pew Research found that 60% of Americans would not take another booster vaccine. Every dataset shows vaccine hesitancy rates rising, but Dr. Birx believes that overall vaccination rates have fallen by 50%.

ā€œThe childhood vaccines, like many of the diseases, you get it once, you don’t get it again,ā€ she explained. ā€œAnd this is getting the children to have that disease without getting the deadly consequences. That is not what the COVID vaccine was designed to do. It wasn’t designed to prevent infection, and if you look at the vaccine hesitancy rates, they’ve doubled since COVID.

The public was aggressively told that the vaccine was the ONLY way to survive the pandemic. We WERE told that the vaccine would prevent infection and anyone who declined was putting the entire public at risk. Then the truth behind the Wuhan lab leak was exposed. Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted that there was no science behind social distancing, masking, and lockdowns. Public trust in the government has completely shattered.
There has been a resurgence in diseases like the measles as parents are understandably hesitant to vaccinate their children. I, for one, will no longer take the annual flu vaccination. It has never prevented anyone from contracting the flu, but they say, ā€œOh, don’t worry. The flu would have been worse if you didn’t take the vaccine.ā€ Countless doctors have told me that I was wise for refusing the COVID jab since they have seen countless patients come in with side effects.

Not sure why its in bold, as I cant turn it off, so sorry bout that...

But at what point will people start to believe that vaccines were never and will never be a saviour.

Health, diet, supplements, exercise do more than any vaccine will do.

"Vaccines Don't Work"???? In 1956, the year after the Salk polio vaccine was introduced, the number of polio cases in the U.S. dropped significantly compared to previous years. In 1955, there were 28,985 reported cases of polio. In 1956, that number fell to 15,140 cases—almost a 50% decline. By 1957, polio cases dropped even further to 5,485 as more people received the vaccine. In 1979, polio was declared eliminated in the U.S. thanks to the polio vaccine.

NONE of these vaccines are 100% protective. However, they DO lessen the chances of contracting this virus, Substantially. As this virus mutates, there are many "unknowns" about how easily it can be spread, etc. With the numbers once again on the rise, and conditions changing almost daily, it is rather unlikely than ANY agency....CDC, FDA, etc., can give us totally accurate, and up to date information about avoiding catching/spreading the virus. About all a person can do is gauge the severity of this infection in their given area, or anywhere they are likely to go, and follow sensible and cautious actions. If masks can lessen the chances of infection....even by a small amount....that is better than nothing.
The voice of reason. Vaccines are not magic bullets. Viruses are not static threats due to mutations that occur more frequently in viruses than any other organisms.

However, vaccination is just one way of combatting disease. Masks, hand hygiene and isolation also play a part.
When almost all of a population (>95%) is vaccinated even the unvaccinated are protected, especially the newborn.

We had the first shot and a booster for Covid 19, then we got covid (we tested positive), we weren't actually sick, we just weren't up to par. DH is diabetic, I have COPD, covid lasted about 3 days and we were back to normal. I can tell you were pretty darn glad we had the vaccine.

I wonder what happened to the guy who started this thread. It would be ironic if he passed away from covid.
No. He left of his own accord, and I'm pretty sure that he's still around on other forums.
He was a good contributor, so I wish that he wouldn't have left.

I've never gotten the clot shots either, didn't wear a mask, and have never in my life gotten sick from a virus.

people were diagnosed with AF long before Covid or Covid vaccines
Unfortunately numerous toxic "vaccinations" have been promoted for quite a long time, and have caused
many millions of people to die since the time of Pasteur, who was rightly considered to be a charlatan by his peers.

The preposterous idea that healthy unpoisoned people spread disease is obviously misinformation designed
to further delude gullible people who don't think for themselves, and to benefit those who work for big pharma.

We’ve never had Covid ….hubs ( foolishly in my eyes ) continues to get updated jabs ….I had 3 and then said ….NO MORE ….hubs was grizzling yesterday cause he’s now got Atrial fibrillation stamped on his drivers licence
but he still consents to getting jabs ….say no more …

People in Texas , it seems.

and surprise surprise - a drop in vaccination rates leads to an outbreak of measles.

not a great outcome. 😳 .
I was preparing a post, and just at the moment I was to send it yours popped up.

Here's what I had written:

The problem we have right now in Texas is measles, growing at a very concerning rate "among the unvaccinated" - in quotes because that's how it was said on the evening news. The disease had been eradicated 25 years ago, thanks to the vaccine, but apparently in recent times many people do not have their children vaccinated. Texas law allows vaccine exemptions for "reasons of conscience, including a religious belief."

As you know vaccines have become political so now a proven old vaccine is an enemy .

Well I guess those who do not want it for themselves / kids will disagree that is a proven vaccine .

Gads, what a diaper load of alternative facts propaganda.

A slight correction - I learned today that while the number of vaccinated people contracting the virus has increased, the number of vaccinated people requiring hospitalization is nearly zero.
Why so many are contracting Covid these days I'm not sure. I can relate to what Murrmurr says. I was vaccinated for Covid19, and to be truthful I did not wear a mask as often as many people in my area did. Under certain circumstances (for instance, staying near a clinic for seven weeks treatment for a throat cancer), I wore it whenever I was with the medical personnel, or in the general clinic areas like the shared waiting room where groups of people sat around. Common sense.

And it took a couple years after my vaccination for me to test positive for Covid. I felt like I had a hefty cold for five days, with an ache in the back of my head for two of those... and it was completely over. I slept extra, but no hospitalization, no panic, not a big deal. Once I tested positive, I stayed away from people until I felt confident I wouldn't pass the virus on to other people. Other people I knew who'd been vaccinated also had light cases.

Your experience is very similar to mine. I received two AstraZeneca vaccines, one Pfizer, and one Moderna, and still contracted Covid. However, it was a very mild case that lasted no more than three days—I've had colds that were far worse. That being said, I might have died had I not been vaccinated.

Yeah but the problem is, no one dies of measles. It is a rarity, and usually the child that did die had other issues that exacerbated his/her demise. The pharma liars, as they do-lied about the statistics in the 70's to 80's about childhood deaths to get vaccines instilled in children's health care. They used statistics worldwide instead of regional. When you include the malnourished, sickly children of Africa with very little or no access to health care, and end up with a huge death rate from childhood things like measles, chicken pox etc, the numbers get skewed. They took children in India's outlying regions, African nations that were the most in famine or barely surviving.
Of course it looks bad. A weakened sickly child living in fear of warlords, with no access to health care or fresh water, no medical help whatsoever, IS GOING TO DIE of almost anything. Measles is a death sentence for that child.
But take the numbers from Europe and North America and it tells a different story.

So I did some digging here using Canada...

Cause of death / how many deaths per year / 2019-2023 (available recent stats)
Using a 4 year period.

I used the most common listed aliments for children that the WHO uses to refer to childhood deaths;
Whooping cough, Measles, Chicken Pox, Mumps, Meningitis and Diphtheria.

In Canada 4 children have died of these in a 4 year period.
In India 783 died in 2020 alone, over 3371 in a 4 year period.
Africa 5430 died in 2018 alone, over 27000 in a 4 year period.

And in India it is not accurate because they are taking it from advanced regions with statistical departments in health regions. Not including the many villages, smaller cities etc.

Africa-this was only Congo, Ethiopia, Angola and Tanzania. Not all of Africa.

So when the WHO comes along and makes statements like '5 million children die of childhood diseases each year'...Yeah they do. The WHO is absolutely correct. But who, what, where, why and how should immediately be asked.

The who are the weak, frail, malnourished. The why is because they have no access to health care or medicine, no food and clean water. The what are they are dying of easily curable diseases with simple medicine or care methods. The when is every single minute of every single day because of the above.

But when it comes down to it-the truth-as much as many don't want to believe it...in the more advanced societies that are not 3rd world such as Canada we have 4 children in a 4 year period-so 1 a year that die of these diseases. 1. Thats all. Out of the millions of children.
I know 1 is still too many. No child should die. But when they use scare tactics on us we believe its happening every day with thousands of kids in Canada. But in reality its 1!. And, not to be an arse, but was that child sick with something else? Was their immune system strong enough? Many questions need to be asked.

So no childhood diseases are not the disaster we are being told.

Sorry once again, but I am looking at childhood stats and its astonishing.

Just in Canada we have thousands of children under 8 with obesity, diabetes, liver issues, ulcers, pancreas issues but where is the uproar?
These kids are sick already. These diseases usually do not get any better with age, so where is their future? Sadly, they don't have one. Most will die young, carry diseases for decades, most likely not have the joy of families, children of their own, etc.

But here we stand and worry about the 1 child that died of the childhood 5 diseases. We live in an upside down world.

So no childhood diseases are not the disaster we are being told.
Death isn't the only important statistic. I had measles, and mumps, and chicken pox. They were not considered to be serious and mothers would deliberately expose their children to these diseases to "get it over and done with.

When my son was a small boy, I considered the idea of the newly developed measles vaccine because I wasn't sure what complications might come with it. My assessment was that I knew how to look after a child with measles and would take the risk of measles, which he did come down with. Later, when the vaccine had been around for a few years I decided that given the time over again, I would have accepted the vaccine for him.

When the possible complications from the virus outweigh the potential negatives of the vaccine, I carefully consider which risks I will or won't take.

However, I did not know then how serious some of the side effects of viral infections can be. Mumps can result in infertility and chicken pox has a way of returning in adulthood as shingles.

As for measles, the complications range from mild to very serious and people do die.

Common complications associated with measles are:

  • Ear infection: it is the most common complication and can lead to hearing loss or make the person permanently deaf
  • Diarrhoea: can be a feature of measles infection.
Other serious complications may include:
  • Pneumonia: most common cause of death due to measles.
  • Encephalitis and convulsion: brain swelling can lead to convulsion which can make the child deaf or intellectually disabled
  • Subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE): it is very rare but fatal disease of the central nervous system which results from a measles virus infection acquired earlier in life
How serious is measles? - Bing
