Who is a Silver Sneaker member through Medicare? I am and I am able to use the fitness facilities at a lot of nearby clubs. It's great in the wintertime to use a lot of the machines and the walking track. They also have a lot of live and recorded online classes for seniors.

I used to have Sliver & Fit through my Senior Advantage + coverage, gave me gym access where I attended Silver Sneakers classes. I eventually became a Silver Sneaker instructor, certified to lead Enerchi(Taichi) and Yoga classes.

To my knowledge, traditional Medicare does not cover Silver Sneakers, only Medicare Advantage plans.
My plan, which is a UHC Advantage Plan, no longer offers Silver Sneakers as a benefit.
