Post a Picture of the nearest island off your coast

Actually on reflection probably the isle of Wight would be nearer as the crow flies....

Island? In the middle of Missouri? Ummm? We have a park with a lake and an island.

There are no notable islands near Columbia, Missouri. However, if you're looking for nearby water bodies or parks, Columbia has Stephens Lake Park, which offers a variety of outdoor activities like fishing and swimming[4]. For islands, you might need to consider larger bodies of water like lakes or rivers, but there are no significant islands in the immediate vicinity of Columbia. If you're interested in exploring islands, you might need to travel to larger lakes or coastal areas outside Missouri.

Oh, I think as long as this island is in the middle of a lake and bordered on both sides by terra firma, it could be termed as having a coast in and of itself. Even if it is a landlocked state, it gives that impression of being coastal.

well waddya know you have an island the size of the UK...:sneaky::ROFLMAO:

I live in Nebraska and the only islands I've ever seen are just strips of dry land between channels of the North Platte river.
Never seen an ocean for that matter.
