Our entire home is getting new flooring. We have to remove everything off the floor everywhere, but they will be shifting our furniture around. This is a huge task - like moving. Every single room as overly heavy items. Think armoires, entertainment centers, oak & L-shaped desks, oak bookshelves, workout room, etc. So as a senior, have you ever just gotten rid of heavy items in lieu of finding lighter, simpler items? We use it all but I've culled a lot. Dejunking is liberating! Have you rethought furniture as an older person? Or am I just panicking and it'll be fine when the floor is in. All I can think of is why do I have so much heavy and complicated furniture, And never am I doing this again!
