Used to live in Smyrna Ga. moved to central ny after meeting my wife.

He isn’t in a trailer park. His house got hit by a car months ago so his neighbour is letting him live in this trailer that’s on ‘his’ property until his house gets refinished.
Nope wrong. May 3 2024 a pickup truck crashed into our house making it uninhabitable. A neighbor invited us to stay with his family until housing could be arranged for us and our pets. We opted to rent an Rv on property site until house is livable again. During the course of these 10 months our 4 dogs and 1 cat has lived in the Rv with us.
The Rv is a GrandDesign Reflection 5th wheel 2014 model. We had to have an electric pole installed to supply electricity and a water hauling company supplies with fresh water, they are also suppling a large water tank that sets inside of an insulated trailer to keep it from freezing. The water is connected to the Rv with a heated hose to prevent freezing.

We had rats in the Rv not long ago that chewed their way through the walls into the food pantry, I think they are dead now. This has been the coldest with in Central NY since 2011. Wouldn't you know it it just happens to be the we decide to camp in an Rv?

Very little work has been done on the house and we will likely be living in the Rv through spring and into summer.

Don’t live in a trailer park. This is on our property where truck crashed into our house last May. Rv is a rental provided to us from our home owners insurance
Sorry I got that wrong. I remember when it first happened your neighbour helped you out. Was that really in May? I guess your insurance HAS to help out some way. It’s taking a long time for them to fix your house.

Note: I now notice your last post. We must have posted at the same time. I bet you can’t wait to get your house fixed. I’ve never know something take as long as it takes to fix up your house. You are a patient man .

Why is it taking so long to fix the house?
Harshest winter since 2011 in Central NY. Frozen ground difficult to dig and set foundation. Permits, a group of insurance advisors and contractors deciding what to do. Lack of communication, bad weather. And the list goes on.

I feel your pain!
