Thanks for asking @Georgiagranny ..I think today is the worst day so far..... I hate to whine on, but I really thought i might die this morning..I really thought this might be the way I go......not exagerating... 🙁

I got up at 6am,..( it's 12.45 pm now )... and goodness knows how I made a cup of tea and took the meds ...but I did.. barely could walk..literally dragging my body through the house.. ..sat down on the sofa and tried to watch some comedy reruns...of Cheers... first time in memory that nothing made me laugh, i was just not able to concentrate.. head pounding, cheekbones felt like Mike Tyson had used my face as a sparring partner...

fell asleep again at 9am still there on the sofa... woke up at 12.15pm.. with less pain in my face and head.. and able to get up and walk around a litttle easier...

It's a beautiful sunny day.. there's no chance I'll be able to even go into the garden...

I wish I knew who gave me this.. or even what the hell it is...😟

Today was in interesting and unusual day...

Started off with a pedicure, then book club, which was excellent as always.

Came home to have lunch, was sitting outside at my little garden table... a lady in a tailored outfit pulls up and comes toward me across the lawn. She flashed one of those official ID cards in the leather case (like FBI or NYPD) and explained she was with the ---- government agency and they were doing an investigation.

At first I thought she was talking about my across-the -street neighbor and I was about to run her off (lol, no McCarthy witch hunts in this area, thank you) but finally understood that it was our neighbor's son (who joined the Navy last summer) who needed vetting for security clearance for his job with the military... ooooh, ok. Of course, we gave him a glowing report (which is totally true). Never had anything like that happen before.

Caught up on documentation from yesterday's work and visited with Ed. Now home and preparing to watch the latest installment of Ben Maton (Salisbury Organist) on YouTube.

Y'all have a nice evening.
Cinnamon Sugar, when I went into the US Navy in '57, I applied for high security job and the FBI went to my home
town also, talked to the school, workplace neighbors and such...it caused a stir among that little towns 1800 folks LOL...i got the clearance ......

Morning fellow wrinklie's !!! Slept in "late" and now I feel "behind" on every little thing I do this morning...I hate that...my
sleep patterns always get f'd up when the time change happens...supposed to get warm today but also some severe
weather, but I think the weather people blowed it out of
proportion again.....y'all have a great day no matter what happens,..,,,HD hope you get better quicker......;):coffee:

Yes the lady said she was trying to meet with previous bosses, principals, neighbors. And I’m sure (like your small town) the grapevine here was hard at work spreading the word. 😆

Well. On the Thursday evening before my SS deposit is deposited for the following Wednesday, it shows up as a pending deposit in my checking account. It wasn't there last evening. It's not there this morning. I'm getting as nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.
I don't get notices of pending deposits, GG. Haven't heard anything specific about SS being delayed or interrupted, just rampant rumors and plenty of speculation about what might happen.

Previous US protest marches and demonstrations would barely hold a candle to the sh!tstorm that would immediately transpire if DC messes with SS benefit.

Yeesh, sorry you've been so unwell. Hoping today is your turn the corner day.

I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. By 4:30 it was time to cut bait on the endeavor. Here it is, 7:15, I'm deep in coffee #2, did a few business chores, and am figuring out the rest of the day. My crystal ball predicts a nap in my near future.

Dreary, cold, rainy weather today, but tomorrow is supposed to sunny and about 20° warmer.

Couple of errands today that I'll run solo. DH will need to stay home since we're expecting a business delivery. Never had an episode with porch pirates and don't want one. Plus we'll want the cartons out of the rain as soon as UPS unloads them.

It's been a mostly lazy week. Kinda nice for a change.

Woke this morning with cramp in my calf muscles which took ages to clear. We had planned to visit Castle Fraser, and have lunch there, but decided against it. Instead we went to the closer property, Haddo house with Mrs.L driving. We had an excellent guided tour of the property and the history of the Gordon family who had owned it for over 500 years.

The forecast had been for some showers all day, but the weather stayed sunny, but cool, until we got home, when it started to rain.

Hope you get better soon, Hollydolly.

Think about RSV Holly. Are these symptoms different than you remember getting before with a cold or flu ? It can be tough on us seniors. Nasal spray may help with sinus headaches. I didn't feel tired with Noro Virus. Just constant runny nose, hoarse voice and light cough like hack, discomfort in the abdominal track! Naval Cities seem to have had it.
Kennedy is making whack-O comments about Measels in the south, here in the states.

So many who don't know crap need to have unplugged.

It's going into the 80's F. here today, picking up the Grandson, Suppose to have heavy weather this evening, Spring HS School Musical Saturday.
Sunlight is the plan, house screens are open for fresh air out.

Found a mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant in my travels today. Not Anglo-ized; the real deal. More Latinos than anglos eating so that says something

Doubles as a Mercado— a rack of spices, sacks of masa, flour and rice… a stack of whole pineapples 🍍

I reached in the cooler for a Diet Coke and along with the usual Jumex and Jarritos soft drinks, I *could* have gotten a sangria soft drink— oh yeah but not in the middle of a work day lol 🍷

If you see a group of guys going in, the Men know the waitresses are cute too.

Some 50 years ago, we bought 2 1/2 acres and divided them into 4 parcels. We sculptured the land and planted every tree.
Actually, this land is our life. It's full of memories. But because of old age, we gave 3 of the 4 parcels already to our children.

We designed the house ourselves and had it built our way. I also built myself 4 carports, a shed, etc.
In the upcoming retirement from her work, I bet, my wife will dedicate her life to the neglected gardens.

The pups are my 24/7 buddies. They even sleep in the bedroom. Besides that I am no longer able to play with
them, they have a good life. Under the structure is our pet cemetery, holding over a dozen of our loved ones.
