20 minutes to splashdown. I'm watching and so excited!
Last Sunday my wife treated me to lunch out at a favourite pub/restaurant. We met the manager and his wife of my workplace. I am officially retired, but it's become semi-retired in that I like to keep my hand in by helping out. The manager knew that I was covering one of his deputy managers this week. So taken was he with my appearance, he hinted that he would love to see it at work.Picture? of what you wore today, horseless.
Don't leave us wondering.![]()

What a strong lady! Best to her and you Oy!Today was a tough one. In fact the last month has been a tough one. Big sigh of relief today though. This morning my 85 year old Mum went into hospital to have a breast cancer lump removed. A big one. She's ok! I spoke to her via Facetime a few hours ago and they've told her that they got it all out and no signs of it anywhere else! To be honest my main concern at her age was the general anaesthetic! She's staying in to be monitored for a few days but she seemed her usual self. A rock.

I have moles near left breast. Now women are advised to check breasts for lumps at least once a month, I never did. (I hate having moles!) One day one mole near my left breast itched, groan. When I reached to scratch it, my wrist brushed against my breast, and I felt a lump! Blew my mind. Had successful surgery well aware that my hated mole's itching had probably saved my life. I was 78.Today was a tough one. In fact the last month has been a tough one. Big sigh of relief today though. This morning my 85 year old Mum went into hospital to have a breast cancer lump removed.
