Pretty, peaceful spot to sit with someone you love.I'm posting about yesterday because it was such a lovely day. I got up later than planned (3:10 a.m.) but was still able to empty the litter box and gather up the garbage for my son to take out when he left for work at 3:30. I also made two prayers before sunrise. I ate breakfast and napped on and off until about 11:30. I had a “date” with my middle grandson that I had to get ready for. I loaded the dishwasher then cleaned up the kitchen and bathroom before I left.
Grandson picked me up around 1:30 and we took the scenic route around the mountain until we finally found the look out spot. He suffers from bipolar disorder and has episodes of depression. I want to spend more time with him doing pleasant, peaceful things, especially taking in nature. We had a nice conversation, as usual, while we sat there and analyzed the cloud formations, watched several planes overhead and people watched. Among them was a little girl who seemed to suddenly get scared of her cute robot dog after playing with it for a while and a lady pushing a stroller which surprised us and the man on the next bench when we saw a dog in it. GS and I made plans to do more things together in the coming weeks.
These are pictures I took of that spot when my honorary daughter (HD) and I went up there almost two years ago to watch the sunrise.

I was home for less than two hours when my HD called and said she was coming to spend the night because it will be raining in the morning. Leavinf from here shaves 13 minutes off her walk to the bus stop. I’m glad I cleaned the kitchen and bathroom before I left because I was feeling tired (or was it lazy) after I got home and just wanted to watch TV. She and I watched the latest episode of Will Trent then we all went to sleep fairly early. She was on the couch (which is very comfortable for sleeping), me in my recliner and my son went to bed. I’ll wait until later to see if I do anything worth posting today.
