As individuals our preferences influence the choices we make. No two paths are the same nor is the destination because no 2 people are identical.

Assuming life is life, everyone is different and everyone is the same. Do not judge me for my choices and I’ll not judge you for yours.

and God said "let us make them in our image and they shall have free will??
yeah about free will, situations and circumstances narrows down our choices considerably. Is it free will when we are influenced by religion, parents, people and the media? Free will would have access to an endless of choices without regard to circumstance money or hardships

It does some not immediately obtainable but possible all in time? - free will unfortunately does not always include the caveat " and above average intelligence and a sound social conscience" - we all have free will it's just that some of us feck it up very frequently
 
Every choice has consequences so is it really free will if have to live with the cost of the consequences?

The choice is free but payback is a bitch
 
Yeah, we have free will and all that stuff, but I didn't "will" the Vietnam War, nor "will" the need to join the armed forces. I didn't "will" getting old. Stuff happens. There are parts of life you have to accept, like accepted social behaviors. We operate our lives within those restrictions. "Free will" is coping with the opportunities and losses in life.
