Oh, Marcy. Tell me about it. Last Sunday I called cable because I wasn't able to watch a show online that I had always watched online the morning after. That call opened the door for sales people to talk me into some sort of package deal with phone/TV/internet. Once I said okay to that I was in some system that caused 32 e-mails and 6 different scheduled home visits that kept changing.I'm so pissed off! A few days ago I subscribed to MLB Tv in anticipation of this day. So at the correct time today, noon, I turn on the tv to watch NYYankees Opening Day and it is blacked out, exclusively on ESPN. Then I tried to watch the Mets and it told me I needed to subscribe, grr! I so loathe talking to companies on the phone that I emailed them about all this, and I have yet to get a response.
It sure puts the pox on OD, if not the entire season.
I learned my lesson with MLB a couple of years ago. Never again.Oh, Marcy. Tell me about it. The tech finally came yesterday and stayed 4 and1/2 hours setting up the new system, taking away old boxes, adding new boxes and towers and enough big black and blue snake like cords to fill out the Everglades.
By the time he left the dog and I were nearly crying from exhaustion.
Many times during these last five days I would have told the company to forget the whole thing. I would gladly give our three TV's to the land fill and just watch things on YouTube.
IF... it hadn't been for MLB which my son loves and for which I'm now paying over $200 a month. (Basic cable plus sports package.)
Every year there's been some kind of problem. You'd think I would have learned by now.I learned my lesson with MLB a couple of years ago. Never again.
