Did You Ever Think You Don't Know What to Think Anymore 🤔

That is interesting. A very good friend would say that sometimes, and I agreed with him. Do you have any idea where home is? If your a "Heaven" person, good, but I am not interested...anywhere else?
You ask a question, then tell me that a certain answer is not what you want to hear. Not sorry to disappoint, but it is, in fact, heaven. :)

I think I must be the only one on here that has never used any illegal drugs. No pot, etc. I used to like a glass of Merlot with dinner but have given that up in my dotage. As for not knowing what to think, that is not a new thing for me. But it does seem to make life simpler...
I was never into illegal drugs either but I sure make up for it with prescriptions.

Is pot illegal in Florida? It's totally legal now in Ohio. It's actually helping me with depression.

And how did I know? Because u are very open about what you believe. In fact u r one of the most evangelical types that has sprung up during our spring. The stone has rolled away, and with it any capability of loving one's neighbor as ones self. Very sorry. :(

That made no sense to me.
I have lived in a Buddhist monastery a few weeks too long. Everyone who really believes that Jesus is their Lord and Savior believes the angels rolled the grave stone. That makes the whole story true as it is in the KJV. And because u believe this story, you have limited your ability to really understand others. IMO

Perhaps you misunderstand the book?? Is that possible?

I assume u mean the Bible
I am sure I misunderstand the bible. So?
Yes, I did mean the Bible... sorry for being so brief.
It's just that most Christians that I know and associate with, see the ministry of Jesus... most importantly
His death, burial and resurrection to be the greatest act of love of all.
A love, demonstrated by God the Son who then told His followers to go and do likewise.

I understand that throughout history, people using the title "Christian" have behaved horribly
and marred the name so badly that claiming the title anymore is rather meaning in today's language.

But it needn't reflect on God Himself... or the Gospel message.

j/s... was just taken back a bit by your post.
though I would have to agree that today's Christian could do with understanding people at a deeper level.

It isn't my place to understand others. Which, BTW, is completely different than "loving one's neighbor as ones self". How very limiting....

A person who has faith in something almost always has friends and books to guide their life. The person who tries going it alone has different experiences. I am of the second kind, and there has been many a day I had no idea what I was doing, or where I was going. The best way for me to deal with the "crossroads", is to sit down relax, and stop thinking.
Leaving the whole melodrama to fend for itself. To mentally detach for a reasonable amount of time. :)

I have collected mentally many different explanations of this and that. But which is the real answer? Or maybe none of them are...Some very important things too.

In my defense of this topic....weed is now legal recreationally and otherwise or medicinally as they say.

This is going to come across to contrary to some of my posts, but it is what it is. That is - you don't have to be right the whole time. You only have to concern yourself on things that are important to you. Meaning, far too many people spend time trying to find if if Actor A is really dating Actor B, wanting to know the "truth". But honestly, knowing or not knowing is, in the grand scheme of things, not important at all.

In truth, the vast majority of what we see/read on the internet is of no direct relevance to our personal lives other than we welcome in all the drama and controversy as a way to while away the hours because Mr. Death comes knocking.

So, some things I have in effect "checked out" on. Other things, I follow closely. I think we'd all be better off if we narrowed down to the important things in our lives.

yes when some people speak to me for the first time it is 1. obvious they are trying to impress me with not necessarily truthful facts whereas others are straight to the point and you can almost hear the honesty. but yes there is a whole lot of garbage coming across at times

2. are as described straight to the point - and I suppose most of us will vacillate between complete honesty and truthfulness with humility etc and the opposite?
