Everyone has issues. Some are more obvious than others. Risperadon is an Atypical Antipsychotic and is used to treat many mental health disorders including anxiety.I found Risperadon to be a huge help with my overwhelming anxiety @MACKTEXAS
I'm shocked at how much it helped me at an incredibly small dose. Could you research it or ask your doctor? panic/anxiety is hell
I wish I could have access to medications that worked well for occasional anxiety and depression. When I turned 65 Kaiser's pharmacy policy had terminated my access to meds that affected the Central Nervous System, due to their "concern" of my failing. This policy is due to Kaiser's Legal department limiting their exposure to liability lawsuits, I'm quite sure.Everyone has issues. Some are more obvious than others. I’m on a similar antipsychotic which works wonders for me. I also have clonazepam for extra anxiety flare ups.
Exactly.Everyone has issues.
I don’t know what I’d do without my prescribed meds. In fact I wonder how I functioned without them. I self medicated for 48 years and would still be self indulging in cannabis if it wasn’t for my meds. These meds allowed me to quit using. So, I just have to rely on alcohol and **other** remedies that are not included in Kaiser's formulary. View attachment 413502
My Dr. prescribed Wellbutrin, and I hated it. But I know Risperidone is a different approach. I see him next month, so I've made a note to ask. Thanks for the suggestion.I found Risperadon to be a huge help with my overwhelming anxiety @MACKTEXAS

Wellbutrin is sometimes prescribed to treat depression. Unfortunately some of the side effects are anxiety and insomnia. Definitely talk to your doctor again. My Dr. prescribed Wellbutrin, and I hated it. But I know Risperidone is a different approach. I see him next month, so I've made a note to ask. Because for way too many of us, this is an anxious, depressing world.I wonder why so many folks have anxiety & depression issues. Was it always so? Do we just hear about it more these days?
Well obviously. LOL But why does it seem more predominate now? Is it that people (as a whole) have fallen away from faith? Is it because evil has grown worse? Is it because with internet we hear about more bad things than before? Is it a chemical thing with the junk added to our food?Because for way too many of us, this is an anxious, depressing world.
I think it could be all of what you mention, although I don't think evil has grown worse; but all the rest applies to me.Well obviously. LOL But why does it seem more predominate now? It's not just Kaiser. A close friend (with a private doctor) was taken off Ambien, much to her dismay, when she reached 65 due to the same concerns: falling.Since so many Californians here say good things about Kaiser Permanente I am disgusted by this policy @Nathan. Driving me to drink? Pot is no credible option either.
Sometimes things that come up casually like this make me grateful, so far
