Several years ago we lost our 6 year-old cat, Toby, to severe asthma. The vet said she had never seen anything like it. He got to the point where he could only lay on the couch and gasp for air. We took him to an emergency clinic to have him euthanized. It was especially painful because he was such a young and beautiful boy.
