@Kaila , I hope physical therapy goes well today if you're feeling up to going. How did the handwashing go? That was a great idea @Jules had about the plunger.

I've been a bit under the weather, yesterday and today, with what poor husband has had for a week now. Probably won't do much more than maybe fold a load of laundry and play Animal Crossing (for a change, ha).

Hope everyone's day goes well.

Yes that's right. We had a big snowstorm on Friday night and Saturday morning, and I had to get scripts from the pharmacy. 😳😮😲

I did manage, though.
Was very worn out afterwards.

All that snow has melted away already and the tulips are growing at top speed.

Kaila you did great after the snow storm! We didn't have it down here in Connecticut, just some rain.

The physical therapy is doing you some good, you cleared off your car, drove two places walked carefully. I think that's pretty good.

Well I was busy Saturday with my son; we took my little dog to the groomer cause I can't pick her up and she's got a problem with her left rear leg and she's very old. So now she looks like a dog again. All clean and clipped and my son hung around for a while and we chatted.

Sunday my grandson and his wife and baby came down from West Springfield MA. it's about an hour and my son and DIL came over and we had some rotisserie chicken and pasta, broccoli and blueberries and I was delighted to play with my great grandson he's 13 months old.

So now you guys, I hope you're all doing well. @Medusa, please take good care!

You're right, that I did well to clear the snow off the car on Saturday, and to do the errand!🤩

And yes, the p.t.is helpful. 🙂
I'm very glad for the referral, and that this place is so close to home.

I'm impressed with the education of these therapists, and the friendliness of the overall place is another positive for me.

I was glad that I felt a little better this morning and was able to get there.

It's nice to hear about that weekend of yours too!

Oh my, I hope that your husband is feeling much better, and that you will be, very soon too. Keep us posted.

I got those socks washed 2 days ago,
and this afternoon, I hand washed 2 tops, one for sleeping and the other for daytime.
So that's pretty good. 🙂
 
Good morning Kaila & Friends! I hope all is well in Posse-land and that everyone had a restful sleep. I totally stressed myself out with the taxes yesterday and went to bed feeling as if I fell from a cliff (adrenaline cliff most likely!) but federal, state, and local are now finished. 👏 And yes, I know it would be easier on me to e-file or get a preparer, but I'd rather do it "the old way" with paper submission so I can be sure it's done right and in order.

I’m struggling still with this cold/flu thing. But I will win in the end. ;)

My husband has done that a few times (ring the bell of Death's door, and run!)
And I have done it at least once.
Yet, we are both here, and it's worth it, despite the challenges.

Pinky, You have rain/snow today? We are due for some of whatever that is, tonight and tomorrow morning, hereabouts.

After my experience with last week's storm's overdoing on my part, I am not planning to try to go outdoors anyplace, tomorrow, for this one.

My stamina level is not indomitable, ;)
even though the p.t. is fantastic.

I've had a disabling illness for years, which got far worse during this past autumn and early winter, (after a trauma and 3 falls :confused:)
so it is not something that gets better overnight, even with excellent therapies.

Though thankfully, I have reached some terrific milestones, so far, since I began recovering in mid-late December.

Thanks to all of you for the continued encouragement.

Congratulations on completing the taxes.(y)🤩🥳

I got overwhelmed yesterday, by simply making a start on ours, and I will look at it again, very soon, but in small doses!

Even though there isn't much time left, so there's that pressure;
it will not help either my health or the tax completion goal,
if I bury myself in the mental/emotional taxation of working on it. ;):geek:😊😅

I've never left it for this late before, but I could not put it on the uppermost level of my recent or present priority list;
So I hope that I'll find a shorter simpler way to organize it.

This morning, I got dh to the labwork, and I am exhausted, and am focusing on eating and napping, and the necessary phone call regarding the lab results.:rolleyes:😎:sleep:
 
Cloudy here this evening as the storm moves into the area.
Rain and snow and freezing rain, expected.

I got to work on the taxes after a short nap, this afternoon.
I'm encouraged that I can get it done.
Not today, but before the deadline.

Husband's report on labwork came back alright, this afternoon.

Good that DH's labs were alright and you've got your tax filing under control. I am SO happy you feel your PT is fantastic!

So you had snow again.....we had rain and it's still raining. You're wise to stay inside.

We didn't end up with actual snow here, this time, thankfully.

Some pelting frozen rain during the night,
but just regular wet raindrops, today.

Cold rain, so not pleasant outdoors, but I had no outdoor plans.

We managed to do a machine laundrytoday, which was a big accomplishment for us.
The building has 4 machines that are not at all near our apartment. Not easy even with the cart.

BUT Hurray, clean stuff!🤩😊🥳

those falls were rough, as was so much, back in November and December.
But onward into 2025, and Springtime, now we go. ☺️
