Yep just went through Columbia, MO.. Tornado warning, hit my phone with a warning. I went to the basement. Misa was intown at the Dentist
They all stopped and got in safe places
It was scary for awhile. Nope not for me. Been through plenty of em....I will take cover though

Just now? Radar is clear. I'm 87 miles east of you. What I understand is SE Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee getting hit now.

Many years ago "straight line winds" flattened a 500+ home, mobile home park just a few blocks from the mobile home I lived in. Surprisingly, nobody died.

I wish all in the areas with tornado warnings stay safe. My sister lives in Missouri and has a plan to shelter which she does when warned. My thoughts are with all of you.

The city itself took a big tornado hit two days ago. Mostly poor neighborhoods and really old homes and big old trees. Electric is run on telephone poles mostly so that is likely why so many still don't have power.
