Grateful I'm feeling better today. Think I just very overtired and overexcited about kids now in Denmark. Wish I could go to Europe again. Miss it. Prefer its pace of living. My soul European. Feel grown up in Europe, U.K. I love America. Just don't like it much. Too crazy. Surprisingly NYC not so crazy despite tumult. NY makes sense

Hey, boys and girls, on another forum a poster said that she's plagued by neuropathy in her feet and read that rubbing Vicks Vaporub on them helps. She didn't believe it because her docs have prescribed any number of things for her that don't work. She figured what the heck, why not try, and it worked! If y'all have neuropathy, maybe give it a try.
😲 On another forum ?...wash your mouth out young lady ...right now😒

My top window fell in! I was cold and didn't know why. Thought it was open a crack! Whole top fell in! Immediately called the Super who immediately came with helper and drills. Fixed temporarily till warmer weather. The people who work here are so excellent! The high winds broke my blinds so he hung sheet up.
Cats all freaked out! Me too! Feel like helpless old stupid woman

@NotCompSavy Mowing is on my list for today, too, but if you'd like to swing by and do it for me, I wouldn't mind.

@Who_so_ever I only like the part about your DH working from home today. Not so much the parts where you got smacked in the eye by a broom and the dogs nipping at you!
Lol actually I only went food shopping and will most likely mow tomorrow , I use an electric lawn mower as do not want to store gas in garage and the battery takes like 6 hours full charge to give me 30 minutes mowing and that is if temp not over 85 degrees .

I might mow it in an hour as should be full charged by then and temp is great outside .

Yesterday did some more rototilling. Tried to get my gas-powered chainsaw running, after it had sat through winter. It's usually hard to start first time in spring. Wouldn't yesterday, but will work on it again today. A standing-dead Salish larch tree come down, bringing a young pine with it, onto one stretch of tall wire fence... mashing the latter. I was able to do some cutting with a lightweight but strong battery-powered chainsaw I also have. Need to cut the trees up more & repair the deer fence.

I did some more clean-up and decluttering in our big shed.

Dave came by with lumber and other materials to finish the new deck railing we'll be working on, and we unloaded his truck. I wore myself out a bit yesterday, but took some periods now and again to just sit on the grass and gaze at the sky and rural/foresty scenery around me. Ahhh...

Woke up this morning with some slightly sore muscles. Today I'll be doing some work toward the railing construction.

Wishing everybody well.

MY mower is also electric..... full charge takes about 4 hours.. . I never charge overnight , because I'm scared it might explode..I've heard of I-ion batteries exploding if left on charge too long... ...so I always put the batttery on charge on the morning I'm going to use it..

I'm gonna stop posting embarrassing incidents. Sooner or later Matrix will add a "sad trombone" reaction emoji targeting me.
or a violin.....

Lol same here so the day I plan to mow I charge it but imagine yours same as far as if you charge it all the way and decide to mow next day it charges up in minutes as holds the charge .

I like electric as works rather not store gas but yes can be pain as far as charging if you decide to mow that day mine is latest Black Decker and no complaints other then charge wait time .

Yes exactly..if I change my mind and decide not to mow, then I just switch it off, and plug in later, and as you say it just takes a few minutes to charge then

I've just bought a new Lawnmower..same electric L-ion battery as my current broken one , I haven't even got it out of the box yet..
