Today was supposed to be dry and sunny....but overnight, the forecast changed. Now, it is foggy and misty, with a chance of rain later. The average rainfall here, for April, is 5 inches. So far, we have had 14 inches of rain, with 3 more day to go, this month. All 3 of those days have rain in the forecast. I'm going by my Mom's today....this weather is very disappointing.

SO came back from Ft. Parker yesterday. They had good weather for the play date and made it out barely in time. All trucks were freshly washed by the grace of St. Peter, wo is responsible for weather.

I'm so hot, it's been a beautiful day today, and feels much hotter than 72 deg...

I have been all over the place today.. just kept moving to stop my back from seizing... first an appointment in town, then some shopping at the hardware store.. then drove to a different town for grocery shopping....bought a bar of chocolate and in 10 minutes it melted in the car ..I have no AC..

Gardener has finally fessed up to breaking the lawnmower.. he had to, because he knew that as soon as he came to cut the hedges he would have been found out anyway.. little does he know I already knew..

He's coming here in about 10 minutes to get the part number to fix the mower.. I told him not to worry I'm buying a new one.. but he's insisting.. so we'll see... ..if only he'd fessed up 2 weeks ago when he broke it , I wouldn't have had all this hassle with new ones...

Checking in. I'm nervous about colonoscopy Wednesday. My son will be with me. His presence makes life better.
Other issues.
He bought me a new computer but it's used. He might set me up Wednesday. Sure hope so. Hate this tablet, but better than nothing.
Bye for now. Miss you

Didn’t get a chance to post about my yesterday. I did some shredding and used the Identity Protection stamp on several prescription boxes and certain mail pieces with sticky backing that can’t be shredded. Here's the Amazon page for the stamp. It's quick and works well.

Today I will continue those projects. I also have prescription bottles to do. I let them pile up so much that two bags are taking up space unnecessarily. See…this is what procrastination causes. :cautious:

Last night I watched the reading of The Piano, an August Wilson play via Zoom. My neighbor/collaborator who hosts the radio program I’m involved in, was one of the cast members. I couldn’t watch the entire thing, but what I saw was entertaining. I’d never seen the play. I don’t know what the rest of the day will bring. I’m feeling kind of lazy. In fact, I talked myself out of going to the waterfront park today.

Gardener has ordered the part... he said he'll fix the mower on Thursday... ... however I've got one mower here waiting to be picked up and returned, and I ordered a new one yesterday from somewhere else which is due here tomorrow.. :ROFLMAO: it's becoming like a farce

@Pepper.. I presume your son is going with you because you're having sedation, and they won't let you go home on your own if you do... the same thing happened to me...

The whole worst of a colonsocopy is the prep... the actual procedure is over in less than 10 minutes
Thanks. I not only had colon cancer so have been through this many times. Also having endoscopy Wednesday

So, woke up, got ready and cranked vehicle and left parking lot, turned right and flasher goes clicktyclicktyclicktyclickty. Not the Normal click, click.

So at the park, disassembled rear tail lights, no burned bulbs..swapped one out, tried lights and clicktyclickty.

Sighing, reassembled tail lights then got back in drivers seat. Restarted van, signal goes click, click, click...

Guess I solved it without knowing how.....I guess as long as it works, it's a good thing.

Well I was so tired..I fell asleep just after 6pm, until 8.15pm... it's now 11.30pm.. and I am so wide awake, I reckon I'll be up all night... 😣
Party on sweet girl, check stuff out, that sort of stuff that interest you. There are no rules at senior ages is what I see.
Usually when we stay up late, Red around 2 am and me near 4 am, we nap a lot for the next couple of days.
Our rules are get what needs done. I think weekends from the past help us understand all that above stuff!

Sometimes our rear wheel bearings and the sensors in them are faulty with + 100,000 miles the Dash lights give that away, but the codes may not. A Stethoscope is helpful for noise from them..
