Oh, we'll have a big garden again

I'll be the mule
my lady will be the gardener

My eyes are so gone
it takes me forever to try to read any posts

forgive me if I miss any posts

Love you all
So sorry to read this news!!
Unfortunately I don’t know how to make my letters any BIGGER!

HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET ONE OF THOSE READERS THAT READ & WRITE FOR YOU. IF NOT I’M SURE YOUR LOVELY WIFE WON’T MIND READING THE POSTS LEFT FOR YOU.

WE MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU ALSO GARY! TAKE CARE! YOU ARE IN OUR HEARTS ALWAYS!

My vision has degenerated to the point of inability to read any posts in any size

I have so loved being a part of this forum for the last eight years

but

I cannot go on much longer

My eyesight is weak

but

my spiritual vision is still strong
So sad to hear this news @Gary O'

It's been a privilege posting with you and reading all about your life, family and, of course, your beloved lady. Thank you.

Keep your spirit strong and the fires burning. All my best wishes go to you. ❤️

congratulations! :) here is a poem from AI that I conducted and my sincere appreciation of you and your partner having worked life out together. 56 years. What an accomplishment!

Fifty-six years where the wild winds play,
High on the ridge where the eagles stay.
Hand in hand through seasons’ turn,
Sunlit gold and embers burn.

Spring came first with blossoms bright,
Petals soft in morning light.
You chose the climb, the daring road,
A life untamed, a love bestowed.

Summer hummed with honeyed air,
Long warm nights without a care.
No walls to hold you, just the sky,
And stars that watched you passing by.

Autumn whispered, leaves let go,
Crimson, amber, swirling slow.
Yet roots held deep where you belonged,
In silent woods where peace was strong.

Winter wrapped the world in white,
A hush so deep, the earth held tight.
But fires burned and hearts stayed true,
Fifty-six—still bold, still new.

No crowded streets, no ticking clock,
Just wind and pine and mountain rock.
The world below spun fast, unseen,
While you lived wild, alive, and free.

So here’s to years that few dare chase,
To love carved high in sacred space.
May every dawn still find you there—
Brave, unbound, and always paired.

**Happy 56th Anniversary**

*(Wishing you both continued joy in the wild beauty you’ve chosen together.)*
