How is your day Today? Chat about your plans and achievements 2025....

when are you going to tell us about the Access ride thing that you said was so damaging that you're going to Sue ?...and then there was a second one after that wasn't there ?
When it doesn't make me sick to my stomach to tell you. My BFF doing a lot of work with me on it. The truth is, I don't really know what my rights are in this situation. I have a case with AAR, but they are overloaded and who knows when they will inform me. I may not have a leg to stand on; I may have to suck it up. Elder Abuse, IMO.

Not meaning to be a tease about it; I just get so ill and panicky when I think about it.

It's 3am... I need to go to bed. I was just getting ready to go 3 hours ago, and checked my email just before shutting down the computer .. and saw an email from my lawyer.. regarding my Divorce case .. nothing snapped me awake quicker than the contents of that. I had to to follow up with a reply to the portal.. which means there's likely to be a raft of emails if not phone calls back and forth later today...

Dentist this morning. I don't fear the dentist, but I'm terrified of the bill. If you want good dental treatment here, you have little choice but to go privately. Theoretically, there are NHS dentists if you can find one, and unlike other medical services, dentistry has to be paid for.
I think what you mean is ..unlike other medical services, Dentistry has to be paid out of pocket

I have both an NHS dentist and a private dentist. The PD has a Capitation scheme where people pay a monthly fee to cover future costs but I find that to be far more expensive in the long run that for the cost of treatment.. so I pay at point of service

I use the NHS dentist more often for regular checks , X rays etc.. and the PD for faster appointments when needed..

Boy is that the gospel truth. 🫣🫣. Thru my lifetime, I’m pretty sure I have bought four dentist each an island. I don’t have any sort of dental coverage thru Medicare and what coverage is offered in my area isn’t worth a pinch of salt.

It has rained enough every day that I got way behind on mowing. So far behind part of my “yard-pasture” was almost up to the hood on the 4110, part of it down to the dirt because horses will not eat THIS, but will keep eating THAT until they see dirt. I was finally able to get some mowing done yesterday - nearly five hours. Like it or not I had to sit on the tractor until I either finished the job or needed to fuel up. It should have only been a three hour job, but that’s what happens when it keeps raining.

i still have about four hours of mowing left, which should only be 2-1/2 but it is supposed to rain the rest of this week off/on. There are plenty of things left in the “it’s raining” job jar; I need to unload 250 pounds of feed out of the car for starters🤯🤯

Oh Imogene...much as it's lovely to have acreage, I don't envy the work that's needed for the upkeep. It take me about 45 minutes to mow my lawns, that way enough for me... (y)

Well as I suspected after the email late last night... it's been a round of mails and phone calls this morning.

The judge has agreed the financial order, so now the Soon2bX has 56 days from the date of the financial order.. to pay...

Still not divorced but that is very iminent... could happen any day now... all very cold and clinical these days

Had the Japanese maple cut down yesterday -- I was tired of fooling with it. However, I'll be lopping off a single branch on the tupelo tree in my back yard. Oh, and charging one of my security cameras.

Pepper, my dog, managed to blow out her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) night before last, probably while chasing a bunny. I've been nursing her since. No vet, because I've seen this injury before. It's common in dogs, especially as they age - Pepper is 7 now. She's already recovering a little bit, but it will take 6 months for her to come around and even then she won't be the same. No surgery -- too freakin' expensive and the recovery process is even worse than the injury.

On my morning walk this morning at 7:15 temp was 48 but I was doing something different. Instead of walking alone, I took my neighbor, Cathie's dog,' Rudy' for a walk around the building. She had asked me last week if could do this today &Fri Her regular dog walker is on vacation. I've walked Rudy a couple times before,he is my favorite dog here. In many ways he reminds me of my 'buddy boy', Tage very sweet /loving dog
Speaking of Tage, Marcia called me couple days ago asking if I could 'dog sit' him this morning, . She's picking me up in 30 min
This is will be highlight of my day

Have you looked at Delta Dental? Not the greatest but cleanings alone are the break even point.

Sounds like a win-win arrangement.

Taking my truck to the dealership to have my vapor lines replaced, seems they were chewed on by an animal.

I let the F-150 sit outside for a few months after my husband passed, without starting it. When I did start it to go somewhere the check engine light kept coming on.

When my younger brother made the 10 hour trip down here to help me with some other stuff, he discovered mice had chewed the wiring, not just one wire, but two wires and not where he could easily splice into it but right up at the connectors. It took him a a whole day to fix that😡😡

I don’t know how much truth is in this statement so don’t quote me on it but, the kid at O’Reillys, told my brother that a lot of these wires have soy in their plastic coatings and that’s why the mice like to go after them. I have a hard time believing that, but anything is possible in this day and age.

Whether or not you let your truck sit, that is likely what happened with you as well. They once chewed the wiring on the generator and boy was that an expensive fix🤬🤬

So glad you're feeling better this morning, @hawkdon.

@hollydolly Does this mean that he'll actually pay or will he try another delay? Fingers crossed🤞 that he comes up with the 💰and hoping that it will allow you to stay put, or at least only sell up and move if you choose to.
It means he HAS to pay Gigi... all very complicated, and as you know very well... this has been a gawdawful FIGHT for 3 years now...4 since he left.... but now the order has been made, he is ordered by the courts to pay within 56 days.. but my lawyer says it's reasonable to expect it within 10-14 days..
