I am happy for you but sad for you too. It is good to have it finally over. I know the feeling to have trusted someone and have them just throw you and the life you had together away. Now............onto better things! ⭐⭐
 
Good morning, Kaila and friends :)

I'm a happy camper, after yesterday's car-ride with daughter & grand-pup. I sit in the back seat, and she stands on my knees, with her head out the window. I drape a long towel over me, to catch her fur (we call it "Corgi glitter"). I've noticed that she gets tired more quickly, as she approaches 10, but, she's in very good health.

My early supper today; a ham sandwich and broccoli. Hope yours is nicer. 🌹
 
How did the dental appointment go, Kaila? I really hope you didn't bite him/her like I did once... and really hard. :eek: Okay, I was just like 8 or 10, but he jabbed the Novocaine in the wrong place. At least Li'l Katie wasn't the only one in pain! And no, I didn't do it on purpose... that durn numbing made that I didn't even know I did it at first. 🦷

Thank you and the others of you, who thought of me at the new dentist office, today.
They seem good at their work, and they are nice, but gosh, the appointment was longer and more difficult than I expected, and it came with bad news about several of my teeth.😕😣😞

I wish I had a happier update on that.
But I did need to go, that was correct for me to have realized, and the work will have to be done. Gradually over time, in many steps.

I hope that every one of you had a more enjoyable day that this one was for me!😏😉

Fresh seafood and tropical fruits; sunshine and surf, white sand and gorgeous purple flowers. We'll all wear comfy, gauzy, flowing things; caftans, wraps, beachy stuff.....let our hair go wild and free.

Ahhhhh....even a mild Margarita or two.

Reading about the Dentist reminded me of when I was a kid LOL... maybe 7 or 8'
He had some work to do, and I saw for the first time, a needle, looked as big as my arm. He was gonna jab that in my mouth!
I fought him off with all I could, he left the room, not happy.
Sat in there a long time, parents talking some sense into me.
Second time went better for all involved. But I look back and still proud of fighting him away. lmao
 
About to catch the bus into town. I want to have a look at laptops and see if there's anything I like/get information etc. before I finally take the plunge and buy one. The one I have now plays up at times and my tablet isn't very good either so I should get something sorted before it's too late and they both pack up on me!

When I come back I will be following local news. Youngest son is on a charity walk. It's an annual event which started in 1966. The idea of walking from Keswick (in the Lake District) to Barrow originated in 1966 as a result of a statement made by the late U.S. President, John F Kennedy, that "every American should be capable of walking 50 miles a day". The original walk was around 50 miles but is now nearer to 40 as the starting point was moved due to congestion. History of the walk | Keswick to Barrow Walk

There is also a shorter walk from Coniston Lake to Barrow which is approximately 21 miles and that's the one my son is doing. He's done the longer one 3 times and the short one twice. I went on the walk around 1970/1. Once was enough for me. 🤣

Hope you are feeling better after your dental visit, @Kaila. I will think of you and @RadishRose when I do my exercises. 😎💪🏃‍♀️

@Pam, @Kaila, and @RadishRose We need to bring back Richard Simmons for your PT exercises!
@Pinky I bet you had a great time on your outing! I used to do the same when we had the dachshunds. I would sit in the back with my towel(!) and they would sit on my lap looking out the window.
@katlupe and @RadishRose I am ready to join you to the islands. I'll bring my surfboard or my ironing board along, lol!
@Kaila I hope you are feeling better after your dentist appointment.
@Medusa I hope you are feeling better today. I take Advils for all my aches and pain. Maybe that could help you relieve the pain?
