I remember my mother taking a part-time job in a chocolate factory. When she started she was told she could eat as many chocolates as she wanted.. it didn't take long for her not to want to eat another one...One of my sisters worked at a bakery making cream horns right after high school. I'm not sure she can face one of them to this day.![]()

In general, If you have an accident or a serious condition that requires immediate treatment, you will get it. The problems arise when you have a condition that does not seriously impact your day to day life. With an under-resourced health system, you have to wait and wait and be aware that your treatment could be cancelled at the last minute. Little wonder that people with private health insurance or sufficient money, will go to a private clinic. Once there, they might find that their surgeon works part time for the NHS and part for the clinic. The more I hear about NHS the scarier it sounds to get sick or have an accident in the UK. How do people with children deal with this?
Six months of not knowing what your hernia will do versus 1200. A tough decision for some - unfortunately. Having had to wait for 6 months to have my hernia repaired, the surgeon said that she would have done it privately without any waiting. I didn't ask how much, but at that time, the average was around £1200.
I totally understand. Take care! How AWFUL for you. I often have a feeling of stuffiness up in the back of my nose and the feeling of not breathing in enough air. These keep me awake at night, plus a bit anxious. I've been avoiding histamine containing foods as best I can because histamine seems to be the cause.
It's my life! Do you know of any other options?!!! LOLYou have a good attitude about a crummy situation. It helps.

I want a job there, too!Do you know if that chocolate factory has any job openings at the moment?
