Good morning, Kaila and all. It's yet another beautiful, warm and sunny day here in my corner of the world. Took Rocco for a walk before it gets too warm. Just over a week ago when we went to the park we saw the Canada geese and their goslings. This time we saw greylag geese and goslings as well as swans and their cygnets. Photos not very good but I only have a cheap mobile phone and I also didn't have my other glasses with me so it was a case of point, press button on phone and hope for the best.

I hope that your dentist appointment goes as well as possible tomorrow.

Mine tomorrow, is at the oral surgeonthat my dentist is sending me to.

But I'm not getting any teeth extracted tomorrow, just will hear the plan to do so at the next appointment.

Neither the dentist or oral surgery office is any fun.

Having a heat wave down on the Texas coast but it happens every year, so it’s A/C time all the time.

For those that have dental appointments etc... all the very best. I went through similar earlier in the year.... still got one more procedure to go through, not looking forward to it. A tooth broke but it broke beneath the gumline so I have to have that done by a specialist dentist and given the choice of travelling to a place about 50 minutes away and getting it done quickly or waiting until the dentist comes to the local hospital which means a longer wait. As it isn't giving me any pain and isn't infected, I chose the hospital. Coward that I am.

@RadishRose - hope you are feeling better today.

Good morning Kaila & Posse! Looks as if my day will be filled with severe storms, high wind, possible large hail, and chance of tornadic activity. WhooHoo.

Thanks everyone for good wishes. I am just back, having had a filling on the upper right and replacement filling on the lower left. Consequently, my entire face is numb! LOL

Thankfully, my dentist is very good and even the lidocaine shots don't hurt.

I'm just glad to have this visit completed and now I just need to wait out the lidocaine so I can feel my face again.

@Kaila, I really hope your consultation with the oral surgeon goes well today and you are comfortable with them.

@CallMeKate, I didn't bite my dentist; he's a nice guy.

@Pinky, have a nice time at dinner with your daughter and her boyfriend tomorrow.

@RadishRose, glad you're feeling better today. That taco truck is hilarious!

Mine will be done on 2 different days,

But I did like the guy...
despite his chosen profession.

It was a very exhausting appointment for me, because it entailed multiple types of movements, and the series of movements and instructions to follow, wears out my brain and my body at once, now.

There's a new type of xray, that you are seated inside of it, with it holding around your body and head and teeth, etc.
No way could I get in and out of it gracefully.
Bears a odd resemblance to mammogram equipment.

Sounds funny but I bump my head and twist my neck trying to follow instructions, and then I needed the wall to lean against, to know which way was up and down.

Not the typical dental patient.
And we had to go over all of the info of medical records.
So information overload and questions, is also tiring.

Then the financial discussion, then the scheduling discussion.....
Did I mention a wee bit of stress?

Ah well, it was accomplished.

It's a very close location, it's one of the plus sides.

I sure hope it's Friday and that every office is closed for the weekend!

I'm thinking of each one of you!

Glad you're finished with it now and you can rest and recover.

You deserve a treat for that, @Kaila! Something nice and comforting.

I do that for myself when I have to do something difficult and it helps. Kids deserve treats when they do hard things and, hey, why should that stop in adulthood?

You know, I forgot about that today! I need a treat too.
