Gentle posts for gentle folks

It’s a too warm and humid morning here, so I got up early and took my new upright walker out around my apartments.
45 minutes later, I’m back. Enough for one day!:)

Collected my mail at the front office mail room. Visited the trash bin where 99% of my mail goes. Only ran into a couple people out early on a Saturday morning..
but the birds were singing.

I'm over tired this morning, but I want to put away some groceries that we got, yesterday. 🙄🤭

At least the refrigerator items did get put away, more promptly. 😊😄😁

Wonderful idea, I agree with it.
I couldn't come up with a doable treat , though,....
Therefore, I just thought kindly toward myself, as you'd done, and that was my reward to myself, the best I was able to.

It was a very exhausting appointment for me, because it entailed multiple types of movements, and the series of movements and instructions to follow, wears out my brain and my body at once, now.

There's a new type of xray, that you are seated inside of it, with it holding around your body and head and teeth, etc.
No way could I get in and out of it gracefully. 😄
Bears a odd resemblance to mammogram equipment. 🫣

Sounds funny but I bump my head and twist my neck trying to follow instructions, and then I needed the wall to lean against, to know which way was up and down. 😖😣😳

Not the typical dental patient.
And we had to go over all of the info of medical records.
So information overload and questions, is also tiring.

Then the financial discussion, then the scheduling discussion.....
Did I mention a wee bit of stress?

Ah well, it was accomplished.

It's a very close location, it's one of the plus sides.

I sure hope it's Friday and that every office is closed for the weekend!

I'm thinking of each one of you!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Even though I did try, in my above post;

I can't fully explain how unusual and strange that xray equipment is.
It's very large and you have to squeeze yourself into the middle of it, somehow, and then get your face and mouth on the correct position, etc.

Gosh. I've never even imagined such a thing, and for dental extractions, not for brain waves. 🙄😵‍💫🤪

That new-fangled dental equipment sounds awesome.
Dental health is very important .. so, good for you, that you are getting your teeth taken care of.

We're going out for dinner with daughter & her b/f, around the corner, at The Keg steak-house. Then, we'll come back to our place for chit-chat and dessert (chocolate cake).

It's nice to hear about your morning venture out of home, Bonnie .😀

And 45 minutes walk is a great accomplishment. 👍🤗
Along with clearing out mailbox, etc.😊

I had 2 very different types of walkers when I was at the rehab, learning to weight bear, in December.
I wonder if you have the silver color one that you stand inside and hold on at your sides.
Or the rollator types, with handles in front of you, and brakes.

It's wonderful to notice the wild birds singing and their activities in the springtime, looking for food, etc, isn't it.

Good morning and it's yet another bright and sunny one here.

Decided to get the bus into town yesterday and while I was waiting at the bus stop a young man started chatting to me. He was wearing a filthy tshirt and jog pants with a large grey shawl wrapped around him. He went on to explain that he'd been staying at his sister's house and spilt food down himself, hence borrowing his sister's shawl. He chatted about anything and everything then apologised for talking so much and that he knew he was a little bit strange and some people found him odd. I told him that we all have our little quirks and foibles and it would be a dull world indeed if we were all alike.

Got onto the bus and he sat down next to me, carried on chatting. When we got to the terminus, he thanked me for listening to him and said he'd enjoyed talking to me. I'm a good listener. 👂:cool: It actually made my day.

Rocco has had his haircut, all neat and tidy now. :)

Good morning, K & etc. 🤭 Yesterday was a lot. Yard & garden work was the theme and whew! it was warm out. 🥵 But it's nice spending time with DH and doing projects together. In the evening we made the short trip to a local canine trainer to get some tips & pointers as my service dog continues in her training. The day was brought to an end with a rousing game of Mexican Train dominoes. lol

I took a break from toning and yoga yesterday and my body appreciated it.

Today I will do lower body and yoga as usual… at least that’s the plan. ;)

@Pinky, I hope you had a nice dinner with your daughter and her boyfriend. How was the food?

@Medusa .. frankly, I was disappointed, though I didn't voice it. My bacon-wrapped filet was, for some odd reason, quite salty :unsure: The service was also, rather slow. However, it was more important to focus on the company we were with.

We all came back to our place, and had good conversation and dessert (chocolate cake). All-in-all, a
good day.

Hello to my friends,
It's a slow, quiet Sunday... I've just been doing small tasks and am nearly ready for an afternoon nap, now.

Very glad to hear of your improvement, @RadishRose

And i enjoyed reading all the above posts.

Wild birds outside my window included a Blue Jay , today, a nuthatch, female and male cardinals, and goldfinches.

More leaves unfolding on the tree branches that were bare for several months.
