The condition likely led to his fall onstage in February of this year. It is thought that performing worsened the condition "leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance". I feel bad for him, of course like I would for anyone with this condition. It was wise of him to cancel his tour so he can concentrate on his health. He is one of the great musicians from our generation.

Any attention he can bring to this issue is welcomed. He is no more affected that other sufferers, however he does have a platform from which he can help bring attention to it. So more power to him.

Thank you. My son is going to be 60 in August. When he was born the prognosis was for a short life. He functions fairly well, but he also has round the clock care.
