Lemon Iced Tea - Yes or No?

I know many people like lemon flavored iced tea. However, when I want tea, I drink tea. When I want lemonade, I drink lemonade. Never the twain will meet on my palate.

Actually, sweetened lemon tea is the only way I will drink tea. I am not a fan of tea by itself.

But only for ice tea.
Hot tea is plain, unless I am sick. (Then there is honey whiskey added)

Lemonade is nowhere near ice tea with lemon.

Tea with lemon = tea with lemon.

It's been ages since I used lemon in iced or hot tea, but in general- Yes.

I drink crystal light lemonade. I have actully mixed some in with coffee. Nice "pep" for some mornings.

I agree.. that's how it is for the majority in this country.... cold flavoured teas are not as popular here as they are in the USA

I tried a Southern Half & Half at Cracker Barrel, a blend of iced tea and lemonade. Thought it was vile.

@Aunt Bea , walkin' on the wild side there. I like Bigelow’s teas, particularly the Blackberry Citrus and Orange-Spice.

I really like lemon iced tea with fresh lemons if possible. Unfortunately, I have indefinitely cut out citrus from my diet because of acid reflux and other stomach and digestive problems. Maybe one day I'll be able to enjoy it again; a little here and there.

When I visit Chick-Fil-A I always order a Sunjoy, which is half iced tea and half lemonade. Aside from that, lemon-flavored ice tea reminds me of the Nestea powdered stuff from the 70's.

I like to make a pitcher of ice tea and have some real lemons that I squeeze some into it. I like the taste.

I've done that (not at CFA) and it's very good....the best of both worlds!
