OTOH, I absolutely don't mind maintaining my lawn equipment. Cases in point - sharpening mower blades and changing the oil in my zero-turn. I don't mind that at all, but I'd be less than honest if I didn't procrastinate once in a while. And yes, I track all this maintenance stuff with small engines and equipment on a spreadsheet.
But pruning bushes, hedges, and weed-whacking? Fuggedaboudit.
I like gardening. Pruning and whacking not so much. All my tools are electric except the mower.
I despise the gas ones. I can never get that pull cord to work.
I hate messing with mechanical stuff. I can do it if forced but Im not happy about it.
Its better for everybody if I pay somebody else to do it. The neighbors dont need to hear those words.
I did not know that. Kool. I will definitely be ordering that.
Now I need to decide. Do I want the plain one with just the time.
Or do I want to be wild and crazy and get the whizbang one.

Living in a condo is the cure for yard work.ME TOO. All my life I've heard some people say they LOVE yardwork, but not one of those people have ever been over to do my yard.
Just shoot me now.
I could never live in a condo. I still remember how my friend got fined for using three stepping stones as a path thru her flower bed
when the limit was two. The condo police would probably have a coronary in right in front of my unit. Stepping stones would be the least of their worries. Im kinda partial to "yard art".

So whats your first world problem lately. Im slowly realizing that the older I get the more resistant I am to change.
I have no desire to be spontaneous. A boring life suits me just fine. Although I can be tempted sometimes with a shiny new tool.
Prime example. My existing cable people offered me a deal. Got a big reduction on my bill and new whizbang cable boxes. Faster internet and some free stuff. I was happy. Until. I realized. Theres no time on the front of the new boxes. Im resourceful. I can deal. Plugged in a clock and set it on top.
Power twitched. Darn clock is flashing now.
I am not happy. Im going thru withdrawal. Old boxes always had the correct time. Dont want to deal with setting clocks.
We dont lose power here but for some reason it twitches. I guess I will be ordering battery clocks.
My electricity twitches too. I have had to purchase three Mr. Coffee's in the time I have lived here due to these twitches. I finally broke down and got a French press but darn, I miss that Mr. Coffee.

For the cover, I’m thinking something tasteful: me in a toga, dramatically reading the book to a group of confused pigeons in a park. Very highbrow. A highbrow once told me in confidence.
