It has been another exhausting day, today,
after several of same.
Gosh it was a difficult day,
,
BUT I notice that somehow I've managed to make it through this challenging stretch of days,
And I'm determined to get to p.t. tomorrow morning, even if it's a low key session.
It was a very hot summery day. Did I say... Very hot?!!
The peonies are beginning to bloom. So pretty!
House finches were feeding their babies at our window feeder, today.

Our high today is only 71F/21C with a 30% chance of rain, so it seems to be shaping up into a nice day.
I took a day off from exercise yesterday to give my hips a rest, so back on it today. Other than that, the usuals.
Hope everyone is feeling good this morning.

Good luck with PT today @Kaila . I'm sorry it's been rough the past few days.
Today I'm going to attempt to go on the bus down to the lab for blood work. it's called dial a ride. I just hope I can maneuver my walker onto the thing. I could just use the cane but I'm a little scared I'm not sure which I'm going to choose yet. There's only two little steps and a curb to navigate and I think I can do it. The driver is not supposed to physically help you but I should be able to manage,
wish me luck? I hope everyone has a wonderful day today and I think I'm gonna order Chinese food for tonight. Be well and have fun

And, thank you, @CallMeKate for that positive understanding reassurance for me as well. It's been a very over-crowded week full of challenges.
Thanks to all here for the support, and I did have success today, too.
I arrived a bit late to P.T. this morning which I try valiantly not to do! (that's only happened once before) and was much at loose ends, but I was present.
I actually carried out a few evaluation exercises, to see how my results would compare to having done the same ones, 6 weeks ago;
And I did improve!
Spent a little time outdoors here with dh, afterwards. Before both of us feeling totally spent. But glad for the day.

So pleased to read that you @Kaila and @RadishRose have progressed and that you @RadishRose have been able to get out with the help of Dial a Ride. I used to be an 'escort' (not that sort of escort lol) with them many moons ago.
Not been posting much because my right shoulder has been quite sore, my own fault probably as I haven't been doing my exercises regularly, must remedy that!! Also, have had visits just about every day from youngest granddaughter. She's nearing the end of her exams and this past week, once she has completed an exam, she is allowed out of school so has been coming straight here and unwinding by playing board games with me.
I was hoping to go into town today but not sure if I'll get there. After a lovely sunny day yesterday, this morning I woke up to heavy rain, thunder and lightning.
It's only just gone 7.30 am so hopefully it might pass in the next couple of hours. Fingers crossed.
Have a good day everyone, and even if I don't post as often, please know that I am thinking of you all and wishing you the best.

We have a high of 78F/26C with an 80% chance of rain this afternoon, so I'll get the umbrella and mucking boots out for the Lucius walks.
I wore one of my pretty ponytail extensions yesterday, but it was pulling my hair, and I couldn't get it adjusted so that I wasn't. I had to take it out in the early evening as I was starting to get a headache. Weird. I have several extensions like that which I'm usually comfortable in, but I haven't worn them in a long time so maybe I'm out of practice.

My husband is working and says, as he does most years, that he doesn't want anything special. I think I'd like to try one that is brown streaked with blue and silver.

Brown streaked with blue and silver sounds really pretty!I have dark brown with blue streaks, black and pink ombre, black and silver ombre, black and baby blue ombre, and a couple solid dark brown ones.
They are hanging on hooks in my closet and my son says my closet looks like a serial killer's trophy room!
