What have you bought recently?

Are you currently using a cane or anything to help with your walking? If not, and you feel you'd be better off with something more helpful and would prevent you from falling, then yes. I'm pretty sure Medicare can help you with the cost of that...
Might want to run it buy your doctor, too
THANKS DOBIELVR, I AM NOT WORRIED ABOUT THE MEDICARE ANGLE....JUST NOT SURE IF IT IS SENSIBLE FOR THIS SMALL HOME....THANKS....

i DO USE A CANE ALWAYS, BUT LATELY, RECENTLY MY LEGS JUST ARE LESS STABLE, CANE IS NOT ALWAYS A SURE THING....THANKS...

...and altho' I cancelled prime last week, I needed some OTC meds, and they wanted to charge £4.99 delivery, but gave me the offer of having prime back for one week at the ccost of £1.99... so I took that, and had the meds delivered... and then I realised that Prime day was coming up this week anyway before I need to cancel Prime on the 12th again...so I took full advantage of that, and ordered another 6 months worth of hayfever meds.. ... huge pack of T-Paper... which saves me trying to carry it in and out of the car at Costco.... some Shampoo and Conditioner, normally £9.99 reduced to £5.00 .. and a few other things I buy regulalrly which had been reduced by up to 40 %

...and this the other day...

GOT ONE LIKE THAT, ALSO A 2WHEELER..I'M MAINLY THINKING ABOUT NOT NEEDING TO WALK, THEREBY TAKING THE RISKS AWAY....THANKS....
There's a highly modified scooter for sale near me. I'm thinking hard about about putting in a bid on it.
4 cylinder, 4 stroke; 1,000 cc Kawasaki engine that's been modified to increase HP & torque with a 4 into one aftermarket exhaust header. It'll do 195 mph top speed and 0-60 in 5 seconds! What the heck; we're not dead yet so why not have a little fun and impress the neighbors at the same time?

Just a thought. Have you considered a small electric wheelchair for inside. It would have a smaller footprint.
Some fold up so you could use it for outside trips on pavement to the doctor etc. .
I agree if you can get a note from your doctor you might get Medicare to pay for either one.
