80 years old last week. Feels like climbing to the top of a mountain.

Happy 80th Birthday.
I'm 79 and counting down the days till I'm 80. I feel like a kid who's 5 1/2 counting down to 6.
BTW, I'm not on Depakote, so I'm still an ornery grump.
You know, for me at least, being an ornery grump felt TERRIBLE. Like a really bad, painful disease. So I'm really, really appreciative of the change. Unless you enjoy being an ornery grump there are quite a number of different things to do to try and change, besides Depakote. If you like being an ornery grump, more power to you (and sympathy for those around you).

Bushrod, I'm a lovable, ornery grump.

Another 79 year-old here. I think our parents got busy at the end of WW2. Like others, I looked up Depakote, not for me, but I wouldn't mind the Jack Daniels. I wonder if I could get JD on prescription?

Brother came to visit from 300 miles away. Took me out for a side of ribs and some Jack Daniels. Hoot! Good times. PLUS: They're giving me something called Depakote, which makes me feel human again instead of being an ornery grump. It's really great. Lots to celebrate! Life is good!
Happy BD, Bushrod. I'll be 80 until September, so welcome to the octogenarian club!!

Happy Belated Birthday, Bushrod, I hope that you can
remember your party with your brother.

Mike.
