So we decided to go backwards and trade it in for a flip phone which most people started with 25 years ago. We can use it a little bit although it takes a lot of work and I still accidently hang up on people all the time because the off switch is right under where my thumb goes when I pick it up. I managed to receive a voice mail for the first time the other day, it took 8 punches. At least I'll be able to call 911 if I'm having a stroke now although I could probably drive to the hospital faster.
WHY? That's what I keep wondering. Why is this better than being able to pick up a landline receiver ( perfectly designed to curve around my face) and say "hello?' Two steps. Pick it up. Speak.
