I left my camcorder in the park

Went to Mandurah today.
Set the camcorder up on the tripod and after an amount of time I drove 2 hours home in peak hour traffic.
Only realised when I arrived home that the camera is still in Mandurah.
I will ring the police tomorrow to see if anyone has handed it in.

I sort of doubt that I will get it back.

I hope you get back. You never know someone may have picked it who didn't know how to use it so turned it in. Do you have facebook? I have seen many items of value posted there that were found or lost. Somebody sees it and returns it.

I filed a lost property report with the police at 10am the next day. Now the wait begins.

Coming up to 3 days since it was taken.
The finder will be keeping it is my thinking.

It does seem likely that they're not returning it now then.

Unless someone else is trying to talk them into turning it in, and hasn't yet succeeded.
