Absolutely!!!!!I never thought about it back then... but with today's perspective, I suppose the peak of luxury to me as a child would have been having a bedroom to myself and not having to share with my sister.![]()
I wasn't thinking along those lines... but we were in the same position as you.....Shoes were a definite luxury we had to wear shoes until they were literally falling off our feet.. very embarassing as a child... at schoolfood, and a new item of clothing

I didn't think about it much then either. But i adored my 3 older sisters. Tho even as a child i valued alone time i missed them being around when they were in school before i was old enough for it.
