Get better soon.Quite a day! I decided to make a doc appoint. They
told me to come in immediately. I did and after asking a few
questions, escorted me to the ER where I spent the
day. Numerous test and finally they fixed me
for transport to a big regional medical center. It looks
like I will be held hostage here another 24 hours.
One test tonight and a couple of ugly ones for tomorrow.
Mild heart attack. I feel fine and finally got to eat.12 hours
without food or water didn't dampen my cheerfulness.
I have been joking with the nurses and doctors all day.
I ask the ER doc to call in a orthopedic doc to treat my damaged
tailbone from the "fluffy" mattresses they got from Alcatraz surplus.
The ER doc didn't think I was taking my heart attack serious enough.
The big regional place sees this kind of thing daily and seem to enjoy
a bit humor. The doc here did ask the hubs if I was like this all the time.
He said no, usually worse. Glad my grandkids brought my laptop. TV
here sucks and I couldn't even find Judge Judy. Y'all sleep well. Past my
bedtime, but I don't feel sleepy and nurses promised to take blood every 2 hours.

Hope you are better this morning and get to go home soon. Not much sleep with blood test every two hours.
I have never been poked so much in my whole
entire born days. Nothing new, just waiting for
more test and breakfast. I hate not being able
to go out and see the stars after rising.

I can empathize with you Irish re: those hospital beds and ruining your tail bone. Not enough to worry about our heart, but, after almost 2 weeks in the hospital very recently, my derrière still is not the same. I hope you get 1st rate treatment for your heart. Get these things early and your chances are great.Woke up to see this, I am so glad you got in to get help and are doing fine.
I had to smile about you joking with the staff there, now that seem to be Deya Style and I hope you never lose it.
Hope to hear good things on your results and progress A̱kana (my friend)
I inadvertently responded to your comment instead of Deya's. I've asked Matrix to please transfer for me.Woke up to see this, I am so glad you got in to get help and are doing fine.

My comment is meant for Deya and not Irish. Matrix has been notified.I can empathize with you Irish re: those hospital beds and ruining your tail bone. At almost 93 yrs, I have 6 doctors treating me for what is now called Atypical A-Flutter. Not as bad as A-Fib, but close. But, I've had heart trouble on and off due to hypertension for many years.
In addition, thought, this last hospitalization also had to deal with a double pneumonia. Never let it be said, I do things 1/2 way. Amazingly, I am here to tell about it.
Be well.![]()
