What have you bought recently?

$41 for multivitamins and wet kitty food. That is, wet food for the kitty, not food for a wet kitty :ROFLMAO:.

Kitty food is getting kinda pricey, but the box is 40 cans, and a can is two days because she only gets a quarter can twice a day.

DD and DGD between them have three kitties. It's getting to a point when the kitties are going to need to start bringing in some revenue, like with a paper route or something🗞️.

I’m going to have to start trying to find some things locally first. Usually I can’t find them, but lately have found two things, one of which was less than half the Amazon price.

Took my trolley to the corner store for a gallon of milk. Came home with $30 worth of goodies. Nice morning for a walk.

After looking up the Amazon orders I recalled having beefed up our security system with almost $200 in replacement and additional cameras, plus bought 3 pairs of Skechers sneakers ($150 all told) to help heal an Achilles tendon injury. I hadn't bought new sneakers in several years and my padded flipflops were making the injury worse.

Most of the rest were replenishing household supplies, so that $500+ at Amazon last month turned out to be a lot less frivolous than it first appeared to me. Even so, I'll be more judicious before pulling the trigger with online purchases. They add up quickly.

yes I know I remember you telling us. I know you're very proud of her... I remember saying to you waaay back that your wife would have made and incredible amount of money especially if she had been a tailoress to the stars... and you said she chose her paramedic career above all else.... but she chose to do both things extraordinarily well.. and it does you good for outsiders to remind you, how fabulous she is... Appreciate that Holly, thank you. We have been so busy that I haven't had the time to keep up with any responses to my postings. I do try to remember but old age and amnesia are common bed fellows.

Today we saw wing walkers and vintage aircraft. There was a brass band there too We had a great day.
Tomorrow we will be dining out for Sunday lunch. Later we are off to The Regent at Christchurch.

Can you see the ticket price? £18:50 and the word concession. It didn't occur to me to ask, but the cashier asked if I was over 60. I was so flattered at being asked if I was over 60 I almost said no. But as the full ticket price is £25:00 common sense preailed.
