Shooter at CDC Believed Vaccination Caused Illness.

Yet another fallen officer who leaves behind a pregnant wife and two other children. He was so young and hadn't been on the job a year yet. A terrible tragedy! May he Rest in Paradise. Every day there's something on the news about somebody shooting up a place. On Saturday, there was a shooter in Times Square, NYC also. The 17 year old opened fire in the heart of Manhattan. It's a miracle that more people weren't shot and fortunately, no one was killed.

The CDC and NYC/NFL killers not shooters are no better than street thugs who wind up shooting their rivals or someone that looked at the funny on impulse. In all cases it winds up being about messaging.

That being said what symptoms and/or vax did the CDC cop killer say he had?

Unfortunately, if you work for the Public Defender's Office, you may not have a choice. I'm not sure if they're allowed to pick-and-choose or if they  have to defend who they are assigned.

I'd hate that job.
Exactly, but I worked for the PD office only a few years after coming home ftom working in Dallas. An attorney has to have a very valid reason for not accepting a case when working in the Public Defenders Office. Too many cases, going on vacation would be a few reasons that would relieve an attorney from the case.

In this case, if I was given the case to defend this individual, I would refuse on the grounds that because I dislike these people so much that there is no way I would be able to give this person my upmost best effort. That’s the absolute truth.

Just stumbled onto this thread and this post and after reading your post, I immediately wondered, as an attorney in everyday practice, not working in the Public Defender’s office, what was your most difficult or challenging case? Did you ever represent a serial killer or a mass murderer? Maybe my first question should have been if you were a criminal defense attorney or a civil attorney or a personal injury lawyer?

Did you ever have a notable case that we may have heard about?

I started out practicing Personal Injury for 9 years in Florida. One of my best friends in college was working for a large law firm in Dallas and wanted me to move down there with my wife and 2 year old son. I stayed there for 25 years working in criminal law before coming back to Florida.

No, I didn’t have any serial killers, but I did act as co-counsel for a young man from Sugar Land, Texas. He was 23 years of age. He hired 2 friends to kill his mom, dad and younger brother. The mother and brother died, but his father was only injured. The young man was given the death penalty. The evidence was overwhelming. We wanted him to cut a deal, but he refused. Lucky for him, 40 minutes before his scheduled execution, Governor Abbott, commuted his sentence to life without parole.
