--- Good news that you were able to get lab work for husband and to your physical therapy yesterday.

What a day, today was.

I started out moving very slowly, but we managed to pick up a small nearby grocery order, all put up by the store.

However, dh began having a poor day, and although it was Saturday, had to be checked out at hospital.

Thankfully he's doing much better (same day) and was able to return home with me.

That's my update. It's very nice to see each of your posts here.

Good morning, everyone. It's going to be another lazy day for me. The arthritis in my knee has been playing up a bit lately, nothing too bad but niggling. Then yesterday I felt a soft lump behind my knee. I've had it before, it's a Baker's Cyst. I have been putting ice packs on it and resting the knee... so that's a good excuse to do nothing.

Sorry to hear about your husband @Kaila but thank goodness he wasn't hospitalised. Good to read that you are feeling a bit better @Medusa.

Last week I texted my eldest son to see if he wanted to go to the Mediaeval Fair at the nearby Abbey. The fair was yesterday (or so I thought) but as my knee was bad I didn't bother going or messaging my son. This morning I got a message from him saying that I'd got the date wrong, the fair is next week. Trust me to get it wrong. So, fingers crossed the weather is fine and my knee is better, we will go next Saturday.

I've overslept and am running late this morning (what's new, lately?) and won't even have time to put some make-up on before walking with husband to work and coming back to take Lucius out.

Exhausted of course, after yesterday.
He slept pretty well, overnight.
Mine was very choppy and not enough!

But I'm okay, and doing a few small tasks, before a nap.
Managed a short walk outdoors.
It's spectacular weather, and I am thankful that I could do that, physically.

Birds at the feeder, this morning, and our flowers blooming wonderfully.
A light breeze.

@Pam, your knee sounds painful, but it seems you know how to treat it. Fingers crossed that it heals soon.
@Medusa, hope you've caught up with your day. We oversleep when our bodies need more rest. Try to not feel bad about sleeping longer than you intended - medical experts caution that too little sleep affects seniors adversely. I woke up at 3 AM today with a sore throat - it's now 12:30 PM and my body shows no sign of being able to nap, but sure wish I could.

Why did I wake up at 3 AM? Because I was awakened by the sore throat and light chest congestion that's been nagging me since Friday morning. I was lying there pondering, "What's with this sore throat? I almost never get a sore throat, even with a cold. Sometimes with Covid, but... Oh NO!!!" I stayed in bed dithering for an hour before getting up and testing. Yup. Positive for Covid. Again.

So I'm isolating in the guest room, hoping DH hasn't been infected. I'm not nearly as sick as previous bouts, but my social calendar for the next few days has been shredded. We're pretty sure I caught it from 3 year old GS who was here Tuesday and coughing a bit. By Weds morning my DIL texted that he was sick with a fever. I started to feel not great on Friday. Fingers crossed that it's not going to get worse.

Reports say it's going around again. Be careful, peeps.
