This blazer often gets compliments. It was on a trader's stall at a festival some years back.
We are off to another festival next weekend. I wonder if that trader will be back?

If you ever went to the Palace garden party, that would be the outfit to wear....View attachment 428660View attachment 428661
Looking at the weather from the window, I deliberated whether Mother Nature was lulling me with the sunshine.
I decided to go for it, wear the lemon blazer and take an umbrella, just in case!
Lovely and well made clothing, and great photos @horseless carriage, but what year are you living in? Do you realise its now 2025
Fair play to you, neither are scruffy tops, shorts, and tatty trainers my scene eitherView attachment 428776
My 1947 MG is a giveaway to the year and what attire is, or was, period correct.
The scruffy top, shorts and tatty trainers are just not my scene.
Thank you for your kind comments, most of my attire is made to measure, that includes hats and shoes. The term "break," is new to me. Looking it up, the explanation was how the hem of your pants interacts with your shoes.I really enjoy looking at the clothing you wear and the coordination between the jacket and slacks with the shirt and shoes are excellent choices. I don’t think I could find most of the shoes shown in these pictures in any shoe store in my area, or maybe in my state.
I don’t want to offend you and knowing that Brits do things a bit different, in some or more like, in most of the pictures, it appears that your pants cuffs have too much break on them. I noticed in some pictures that there is probably about 3 inches or more break.
I appreciate your reply. Here in the U.S. most executive style pants are made to fit. Measurements, I am not sure about, but our pants at the bottom are tapered so the cuff covers the shoe in the back and lie on top of the shoe in front with about 1-2 inches of break. Look at the photo and you will see the tapered hem at the bottom of how they should fit over the shoe. I wear tailor made slacks, shirts and jacket.Thank you for your kind comments, most of my attire is made to measure, that includes hats and shoes. The term "break," is new to me. Most of my pants are made by my talented wife, she makes them to a late 1930's design. High waist, wide leg, some are a 22 inch circumference at the hem. My trousers are supported by braces, (suspenders) but being high waisted s what creates the brake at the shoes.
