Good Morning

Just booked to see 10CC in Cardiff next June.
No idea who is actually in 10CC these days but it’s another one off the Bucket list.
£53.
The current 10cc line-up features Gouldman (bass, guitar, vocals), Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion) – both of whom have been with the band since the early years – Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Iain Hornal (vocals, percussion, guitar, keyboards).

if Eric Stewart had still been a member of the Band, I wwould have travelled to Cardiff myself to see them... ...you got a great price tho' regardless

Morning peeps of SF...

Wet day here today...first real rain we;'ve had for weeks......hopefully my lawns will return to health instead of the yellow dust they've become

No plans for today other than general chores.. and then front seat in the public gallery of court this afternoon....

Have a super day ...🤗

I was quite busy with phone and video calls yesterday so stayed planted at home.
Today is catch up day. Bank run, grocery catch up and Yeah! car was fixed (so that repair is over and done)
A store has Mums an 8 inch bucket full for $4 each so I will stop and get those for my fence planters.
Then just chillin at home. Back to daily normal life.

I have chores to do today. Laundry, grocery shopping.

There is a new member to our little family! I have a granddaughter! A kitten named Gracie. My son/dil/grandson picked her up at a shelter downtown at Canal Street. It was love at first sight. They are all thrilled! My son loves cats so much, he's over the moon! How did he finally persuade dil, I wonder? Grandson always loved my cats. (((Buffy & Max))) and 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 Gidget/Louie.

This will be good for my grandson and son. DIL too. I met Gracie on FaceTime, and also new pics and videos. DIL sent me pic of Gracie sleeping on son. She is 3 months old. Son looked so happy, content. Now he has his very own, I'm so happy for him, he's had many ups/downs this year.

Morning all folks.....up since 5am, tho awake much longer...went
to bed early 9pm, maybe thats the reason...so far feel okay, will
see what the day brings...got some dishes to do before breakfast, but otherwise just a boring day I hope...it is 62 F out
there, only going to 80f, so cooler at least, getting a little dry
tho.....had a bit of success in getting squirrels to quit chewing
on garbage bin, wheelie, put a product called "squirrel mace"
from Amazon, all around the area they chew, and it seems
to be working!!! Got to take the little victories!!! ;):coffee::devilish:

Good morning everyone, waiting for a delivery from Walmart. I order household items from them but food from local grocery. The household goods at Walmart are a better price even from Amazon with some of them.

The weather looks good today, so it will be nice to get outside.

Take care of yourselves and enjoy your day. :)

Ok, I did it. I am now officially in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I gave myself my first injection yesterday. Today I feel like the HULK!!! Ha! Just kidding. Don't feel much of nothin yet. It says around 3 weeks before results are felt. We'll see...in the meantime does anyone have any thoughts on this kind of therapy for older folks? Maybe some good jokes. :)

I've only seen them live once and that was at a free open air gig in Ypres, Belgium. They were excellent and also performed a number of songs that Graham Gouldman had written for other bands. The audience seemed to be split between teenagers who had no idea who 10 CC were and middle age rockers.

Morning all on my early walk at 6;50, temp was 54 felt like a fall day as I went around building twice a before breakfast
This morning at 10-10:45 going to exercise class,I enjoy this get a good workout. Our instructor Susie tells us 'go at your own pace',There are usually are 9-10 residents, lately a couple more have shown up. At this month's resident council meeting, there was a discussion about adding another class during the week, will see if that happens
The rest of my day take afternoon stroll, read NYT, my book

I do the same, @Rae: I get only dry goods and frozen food from Walmart. For meat/fish, produce, and baked goods, I go to a grocery store.

Another busy day of work ahead for me. I plan to take a break at some point and scout out the locations of AA meetings (other than my usual Saturday one) so in case I feel a spur-of-the-moment need to go to one I can find it easily because I'll have made the drive ahead of time.

Other than that, not much planned. I've been rewatching videos of my little twin grandchildren that my older daughter sends every few days. Poor thing: She's 8 months pregnant with her third, and the babies are getting more mobile by the day, crawling fast, climbing, etc. Luckily her husband is very hands-on. :) They have family visiting, but I'll drive up soon to give her a hand, before and after the new baby arrives.

Thanks.
And that’s for the expensive seats. There are cheaper ones.

Have you ever waited in all day for a carrier to collect a parcel only for the driver not to turn up. It's so frustrating. The cat's litter tray that we ordered, arrived damaged, left on the doorstep and the driver gone. It looks like a heavy package has fallen on it.

Today my wife has been working on something new for me to wear, so I have been covering the domestic duties. Vacuumed right through, dusted and cleaned. Then I prepared tonight's chilli con carne. My lady wants to continue with her project after we have eaten.

I shall be buying tickets for tomorrow night.

You can't say that I am short of Hawaiian shirts. Looks to be a good night. It's going to be busy tomorrow, probably be out all day.
In the morning we are going to Bridge & Lindsey, a medical aids store, a new back support for the lady and she suggests that I look at getting a truss to ease this hernia discomfort.

Later, we will be going to Hansons Fabric Store, it's quite a distance away but well worth the drive. Then home to a cottage pie. It's not a pastry pie, let me show you, much easier to explain.

In the evening we are off to the Ball.

Trying to decide what shirt for the Hawaiian night. Both shirts are one of a number of similar styles. Do i go for a shirt that depicts people and scenes or one that is floral?
I like the lady Hawaiin best..... ...I;m not very keen on the purple... Im sure others will love it... Superb workmanship on both but I'm just not keen on that design

It's past 10pm here now... I was in court again all afternon and evening. Such a rivetting case.... but now they're done for the weekend...

I still managed tho' during the breaks to get some chores done... including making a Mozarella & Pesto Quiche for dinner :p

Thanks for that Holly, it's good to get opinions. Chances are most shirts tomorrow will depict a floral pattern. Having one that depicts people and scenes is far less common. Have a look at two more, and I promise just these two, tell me what you think.

Shirt left depicts pin-up girls, vintage and woody cars. Shirt right depicts luxury travel. Ocean liners, Cadillac cars, five star hotels & so on.

I like both of these HC if I was forced to choose just one I'd opt for the one on camera right...

Thanks Holly, I will post some photos of the event, by then I hope to have decided which one. I thought of wearing one and taking one to change into later. "Don't show off!" Came the sharp reprimand when I suggested it to my other half.
Well personally, I think you should show off... looking very dapper in those beautifully tailored shirts,...(y)

I went to the supermarket this morning and lo and behold, who did I see as I was leaving the building to head home?! HS#3 was right there and also heading towards our complex, so he carried my bags to my door. They were a little heavier than usual, so that was a blessing.. Later in the afternoon I started getting an A-fib episode while I was at rest. I napped for a while until my neighbor called to let me know she was home. At the first sign of relief, I took my spare key upstairs to her (I gave it to HS#3 while she and her husband were on vacation).

It's night and I'm still not feeling 100%. A-fib episodes, even mild ones, can really drain one's energy. I'll be emptying the litter box but will use the quick clean method. I don't feel like doing it, but I should have done it a week ago. Then I have to take the garbage out to the curb because my son is out of town. That litter is heavy too! I will not be doing anything else but relaxing and watching T.V.

Left: My wife is just driving my older daughter 80 miles to LAX. At 10:50 pm (22:50 hours) my daughter will leave on her 15 hour non-stop flight to Sydney. While working in Zhuhai/China (left center white arrow) my daughter had some Aussie friends in the expat community who invited her to come for a visit. -- The light color left is daylight, while the dark color on the right is night time, which is moving from right to left. UA839 (UAL839) United Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware -- Right: In June 1995, I took my family on a rental camper trip from Sydney to northern Queensland, passing the town my daughter will now visit. I hope the wooden bridges on Hwy 1 have now been replaced with something more permanent.

My prostate cancer needed a major surgery. But my third skin cancer (the biopsy created the upper two wounds) needs only a minor outpatient surgery since it was caught early during my semi-annual skin cancer screening. The lower wounds were pre-cancerous treated with liquid nitrogen.

Left: At seven in the morning, a coyote investigated our chicken coup. My three large dogs in the enclosed patio barked like crazy
only five feet away, but the urban coyote just ignored my dogs. It only run away when I came. I took this picture (enlarged) when
the coyote was already outside the fence. Right: My wife has plants in her garden that attract Monarch Butterflies to lay their eggs.
