So. Loki (boy dog) and I heard a door slam, looked at each other and got up to check the house . Scrappy, the cutest little cat in the world, joined us.

No one was there. No doors were closed that I had not closed myself. Scrappy hissed at me when I reclosed the linen closet door,, because she didn't want me to make her leave the bathroom.

I don't think we have a ghost. Scrappy the cutest cat is named that for a reason. She marched in the house as a stray who was half her current size. She walked straight under 4 Presa Canarios who weighed between 100 and 200 lbs. Very brave for a cat.

Yesterday she put up her dukes and threatened to beat one of them up...for no reason. Just messing with them

Hey everyone... happy Saturday.....

It's 1/2 past noon... it's been raining this morning, stopped now and the sun is coming out.

I have to tell you an amusing thing about tiny new puppy... he's no bigger than 4 inches high, just 9 weeks old... and she's training him at home, he's only been with her a week or so.. and DD took him with her to work as she does the 15 year old chihuhua...

So DD is concerned little pup might pee on the office carpet... so after she'd taken him outside a time or 2... one of her co-workers had been playing with the pup, and DD watched in astonishment, as little pup took himself off to the mens toilets, ( she followed him) and peed on the floor in there....what a clever little pup...

Morning all, on my early walk at 6:45, temp was 50 but with no wind was refreshing as I walked across the street to buy local paper for myself ,friend Connie
Today,I've invited my Tudor PLaza friends, Don& Dave for lunch at 12:15, they've been here numerous times since I moved here last year. I'm trying to get my food allowance down as far as I can.Whatever is left at the end of month, I can't roll it over
The rest of my day take mid morning walk, watch some college football games, read the paper

Very foggy here this morning! It should burn off, and we are expecting a sunny day. This is the view from my window.

I'm facing a more relaxing day than the past two have been. I'm hoping to get in a walk down by the river and do some work, but for the next few days the deadline pressure has eased a bit.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Good late morning. I will be going out for lunch and buy a couple of lotto ticket for the big one tonight, 1 Billion, I won't win but what would one do with all that money? Even the one time payment is a lot of money. Oh well, I can dream and find a way to spend what I want should I be that lucky.

A cooler day today and no rain so far.

I hope you are all well and have a good day today. :)

Ok, I did it. I am now officially in testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). I gave myself my first injection yesterday. Today I feel like the HULK!!! Ha! Just kidding. Don't feel much of nothin yet. It says around 3 weeks before results are felt. We'll see...in the meantime does anyone have any thoughts on this kind of therapy for older folks? Maybe some good jokes. :)
When an old flame started taking some to help w/his performance, he also went to work out at the gym. I think it was to prevent him from getting too mean and bulky. And, probably to help burn off excess energy.

I'm home. It was a disappointing day.....

The rink was closed. No sign, no anything. I guess it was closed because it's the Holiday weekend. 😥

We stopped for gas and to use the bathroom. The pump didn't work right, and both bathrooms STUNK!!!!!

We did stop at a different gas station for the brand of coffee that we like. That was good!

I guess were going to watch a show, then go out for the evening.

Today was market Saturday, the 16th farmers market day of 2025. I arrived at the outdoor site at 6:45 AM to se up my table and canopy to be ready for business at 8:00. It started raining at 10:00 and still hasn't stopped and it's 7:40 PM central time USA.
Nevertheless, it was a decent day for me......I have a following of regular patrons and I sold all my cookies....36 bags, 10oz. each and all but 3 loaves of bread........that was 37 loaves of bread.
When the weather is bad it leads to a feeling of camaraderie and shared hardship among all the vendors; we help one another take down
our protective, tent-like canopies and to lend a hand loading up tables etc into one another's vehicles.
And this region benefited from the rain. So it's been a good day. Market Saturday is the high point of my week. We'll be at until the last Saturday of October.

The Hawaiian Summer Ball was absolutely packed out, surprising given the heavy rain. I guess the tickets had all been sold when we still had the sunshine. The Ball ended at midnight but we called it a night around eleven, the lady was tired. Arriving home, bath and bed, I crashed out until about fifteen minutes ago.

Just checked our booking for Sunday lunch, we are dining at a very popular watering hole called The Old Thatch.

It's very popular and well known, we get tourists from afar a field as London, some ninety odd miles away.

After driving 40 miles this afternoon while mid day temperatures rose to a hot 94F, I enjoyed a familiar, excellent Rolling Stones cover band while freestyle dancing for 90 minutes at a huge suburban art/wine/food street fair. Was packed with people for 8 blocks despite the heat. On the way back south, the freeway was evacuated over about a dozen miles due to a wildfire.

Tomorrow Sunday will be driving back part of that way to a coastal roadhouse like venue where high temps will just be 67F. On the other hand, where I live, is forecast to reach 93F. The venue is next to a freeway 2 blocks from the cool foggy ocean and has both indoor and outdoor patio areas. Five Dead jam bands are queued up from 1pm, so music will likely last till sunset, though I doubt I'll last dancing all that long unless I manage a nap midway. That could be easy if I find a parking spot right along the shore road where I can listen to the wave crashing surf. Am hoping the event draws some Dead dancing gals.

(Note, I blanked out part of the below poster.)
