Hello to all of you. 🫠🤩🥰

I'm exhausted today so I hadn't been online much.
A good thing is that a delayed package finally arrived today. It's a special cushion I had ordered for dh, and he seems to like it, so I'm feeling pleased by that.

I find it difficult to choose items online, and I get confused and stressed, so i am extra glad that this seems to have a successful conclusion.

It's challenging for me to figure out returns when it's needed.

I enjoyed reading each post, today.

Maybe get your dear husband to order things for you. I know that’s what I’ll do when I get to that stage.

Returns should be easy which is why almost all my orders are from either Costco or Amazon. Their returns are super easy to do.

Good morning everyone.

I'm having a difficult one. My sleep was choppy for several reasons.
Now, the daytime seems too challenging. I'm struggling with the basic functions.

I think I'll try to do 1 thing at a time.
I think I'll cancel an appointment that is too hard today and not a medical one.

I thank every one of you for those comments above and for the understanding support.

Dh seems to love his cushion.
That makes me feel good.

My dear husband isn't able to do these tasks. I'm very slowly learning to do them.

Good morning, K-posse! I had a great day yesterday - hubby & I took our 3-1/2 year old grandson on his first train ride. He was enthralled throughout - and we were enthralled at his joy! We went an hour up the coastline, stopped for lunch and some playtime, then came back home. Not my first rodeo with a 3 year old that has to be relatively contained for an hour at a time, so I brought plenty of snacks, too.

Kaila, I'm the same — choppy sleep messes with my brain. I've learned to delay tasks that require focus, important decisions, or deep thinking. Sometimes I do better after a nap, but oftentimes I just put things off until the next day. There's no sin in that.

Oh, poor @CallMeKate with that broken laptop! Could it still be under warranty? This doesn't sound right....only a year.o_O😞

My DGS and family were here Sun. with my dog..🥰🥰🥰🥰
GGS Darius was wonderful, running around and laughing. He was very interested in the Superman action figure he found in his toy basket. We showed him how to wave it in the air to imitate flying. The cars and trucks remain his passion tho'.
DGS brought some chili he made, but way too hot for me! But I had other food for everyone.

Weather here has been so nice!

Kaila, do you have store that does direct returns to Amazon. You just let Amazon know and they send you an email approval. Print it out or have it on your phone. Take it to the store unwrapped. They refund you immediately.

I know they do a pick up at the house, but then I have to stick around all day waiting.

Thank you for the ideas.
I haven't even signed up or ever used Amazon yet.
And I haven't learned to do much with my phone which actually partially stopped working, this summer.

Bit by bit there's so much for me to relearn, and to practice, plus the stuff i hadn't learned yet.

But I've been learning gradually, and will learn more.
I want to learn more ways, but not today. 😉😊😄🥰🥰🥰

I recently ordered boots for the first time, from Orthofeet. And I studied their return options if they're not right.

It's even difficult to receive any package in this apartment building.
 
Good afternoon, not been around much. Son and grandson came round yesterday to do a couple more jobs. Just little ones like putting my new picture on the wall and putting away all the decorating gear. Then this morning, my youngest granddaughter messaged to ask if she could come round and see me for a chat and a few board games. She went to 6th form college yesterday for induction etc. and tomorrow will be her first proper day. She's looking forward to it but there is one slight problem.... her older sister. ;)

They will both get the train to the town where the college is, only a 15 minute journey, but.... the eldest girl is very laid back and everything is last minute whereas the younger one is very organised and she likes to be at the station in plenty of time. I can predict a few arguments in the mornings. But, that won't be my problem. :cool:

I received a reminder to make an appointment for my annual flu jab so I've done that, but that's about all I've done today, been very lazy. But, I might make an effort now and take Rocco for a quick walk before he goes home.
