King Charles has been to this town today to bestow on it the title of Royal Port to recognise the Cumbrian town's critical contribution to industry and national defence. The port town is home to the BAE Systems' shipyard where the UK's nuclear-powered submarines are being built. King Charles visits Barrow-in-Furness to bestow royal title

It's been a beautiful, sunny day, so different to yesterday.

Hope you manage to catch up on naps @Kaila. They're very important, Rocco and I had one this afternoon. ;) Hope your appointment goes well. 🤗

It was fun for me to imagine the event, and the local people there, as well as the great location.

Yesterday was a very draining day, but I got to p.t., today.
I had wisely made today's p.t. session at a later- morning time slot than usual, and that helped, after yesterday.

I did accomplish a very short pick up of cats favorite foods, on the way home today, too.☺️👍😻

My p.t. session was demanding but went well overall.
The leaves on our local trees have definitely been shifting into autumn mode. Beautiful!

It's becoming cloudy this afternoon.
Those rains are approaching from the West. We do need some.

I earned my nap, today. 😁😄😉
So that is where I'm headed now.

You my have some of my rain, I'm willing to share. I got 2 inches today, 0.5 inches yesterday, and 0.6 inches the day before. More expected tomorrow. So! How much should I send you?

We got lots of rain yesterday, which Lucius and I, somewhat miraculously, managed to avoid on all three walks. :)
Our weather today is described as: "More clouds than sun; humid with a couple of showers. Hi: 79." (79F/26C).

I like all of that except for the humid part. Well, and the high could be a bit lower, but that feels a bit greedy.

@Kaila, sounds like you had a productive day, yesterday. 👍 😁

There isn't sunshine here this morning, but there is daylight, to make me feel welcome, so I can sub that, into your hopeful wish. I like your wording. 🙂

And there are more autumn colors, still very gradual, but noticeable, too, to greet me and dh this morning.
I focused his attention, and mine, on that, for a few minutes. ☺️


Enjoy getting pampered at the hair dresser! That sounds like a nice treat,
plus it seems like a major change of pace for you, from the things you usually do.

We're having that same weather, here.
Mostly Grey skies, with just occasional and brief actual showers, so far.

You're right about the dental work. I will! 😃🤗☺️
It's a lot to go through, but I'm glad to be tackling it.

It's a series of appointments that are needed, of which I plan for 3 more this year.
I committed to 2 in October, and 1 in November. Then, I'll take a break, and resume them, perhaps in February, or March, for sure.

Eventually it will be a great accomplishment. 🤩
