Are you streaming ( or binge watching ) any series on Netflix, or any other service? Tell us about it.

I am currently enjoying Somebody Somewhere on HBO/MAX. very likable characters, and compared to Task, which I stopped watching due to darkness, it's light and breezy.
I agree about Somebody Somewhere; even though it sometimes dealt with serious stuff, it did it in a heartwarming way, I really liked the show too. And I was wondering about Task being too dark for me; from what you've said, I think it would be so thanks for the heads up.

Currently on more than half through Homicide, Life on the Street. On Tubi, tho we have a boxed set of all the seasons and the movie, which i'll watch after i finish the seasons.
I never was interested in the show until I did a co-worker a favor. She wanted to see it, but for some reason wasn't able to, so I recorded it for her on VHS. I wound up getting into the show. I was wondering how I could get to see episodes again. Thank you for mentioning it's on Tubi, which I can view via my Roku.

@JustDave I've never liked Justin Hartley, from way back in his Smallville days, so I won't be watching Tracker. I think he's part of the reason I stopped watching This Is Us. Paramount+ carries the show, so does Disney+ (or Hulu). I have the latter two as a bundle, so not sure if it's on one or both.

@officerripley Streaming services may be dropping just one episode a week instead of releasing an entire season at once because they probably realize people will subscribe for just enough time to binge watch, then unsubscribe again, which of course causes them to lose money.

The way around that will be to delay subscribing until the full season has dropped (8-12 weeks into the season).

I decided to subscribe to Apple Plus for the first time. I am currently watching the second episode of Slow Horses. I already know that I will binge this one through till the end. It seems like a lot of fun while having an edge to it. There are a lot of shows that I do want to watch on Apple Plus so I will probably keep the sub going for the next couple of months.

Yeah Slow Horses is great; also Shrinking and Murderbot. (I couldn't get into the Murderbot book but the series is really good.)

Yes, Slow Horses is definitely worth the price of a subscription. And also Stick and The Morning Show (the latter is prolly a chick flick thing tho).

@officerripley @Marcy Sheiner Thanks for the suggestions. I added them to my "watch" list. I did watch Severance and enjoyed that although I thought the pacing was a bit off in the second season. I finished it about a week ago and the concept of the show is still stuck in my head. I also watched the mini series 5 Days at Memorial and found the show captivating , especially the first three episodes which covered the horrible conditions at the hospital during Katrina and the flooding after.

Yes I liked that show about the hospital during Katrina. I've watched quite a few shows about Katrina, and liked all of them
I confess I kept trying Severance but finally decided life is too short to keep watching a show that I can't make heads or tails of.

SurrealEstate on Hulu. In 3rd season, hoping there's more to come.
A man who can communicate with the Deceased founded a Real Estate Agency that specializes in properties with 'issues' not of this world.

Personally, i think even if one doesn't believe in such things, if they can approach like a sci-fi or fantasy story, suspending disbelief and accepting the created reality, it can be a fun watch. There's a lot of humor in it. Which until Jordan Peele started making movies in the genre was often lacking.

Unfortunately, I heard SurrealEstate's been cancelled, won't be any more; too bad, I really liked the show.
