AI Overview

Chocolate balsamic is
a gourmet, aged balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy, infused with natural dark chocolate flavor, creating a rich, thick, and complex liquid with both sweet and bitter notes. It's a versatile ingredient that enhances both sweet and savory dishes, including desserts like ice cream and fruit, or as a component in marinades, glazes, salad dressings, and sauces like mole.

Says it is sweet and tangy. So BBQ sauce is sweet and tangy so I guess kinda like that? I don't know...~eyes the carrots~
That sounded tempting till the end of that paragraph....I don't want to injest anything brown that is called 'mole!!'😱😁
Those carrots are funny though; thanks for making me laugh. 🤩

Temps in the 80's again today. Just heard on the news that our reservoirs are down 70%! The State is asking us to use our dishwashers instead of handwashing to save water. I've no problem with that!

@Kaila, I also hope your recent difficulty is only temporary. You are so determined that I cannot help but feel you will regain and surpass. Look how far you've come. My healing prayers are for you. ❤️

I'm embracing it. 💗

Also thank you for what you wrote for me. 🥰

But I'm still here, so I'll try again, tomorrow.

Good morning all. Just waiting on a grocery delivery. I started getting groceries delivered during lockdown and have continued with it. I don't have a car so it's very convenient for me. Tried 2 or 3 different stores but stuck with Tesco as they've given the best service. No tips given here in the UK. I always use the 'flexi saver delivery' and select between 9 and 1. It also reduces the delivery charge which is between £1.50 and £4.00 depending on the post code, time window and day chosen. I get a text message on the morning of delivery giving me an approximate time and today it's between 9 and 10. That has worked out nicely as Rocco isn't coming here until 10.45 so I can get the shopping put away first!

I do sometimes go to the nearby Aldi shop (five minute walk) for a few bits and pieces but they closed for refurbishment last month, should be opening again in the next week or two. Fingers crossed.

Youngest son messaged me last night to say he's coming round today and would I like some of his home made veggie soup. Yes, please, was the reply! 😋

Was about to finish off posting when my delivery arrived. All put away now.

Have a good day, everyone.

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. 🤗:coffee:🎃

Watched some PBR with husband yesterday and that was fun. We watched a bull called, Man Hater pitch a rider off his backend and over his horns. It was wild. Man Hater is the number one bull in the country right now. (I'm always rooting for the bulls.)

@Kaila, sorry about your tough day yesterday. I agree with Kate about your courageousness. That's been evident from the beginning of this thread. 🤗

It's the usuals for me today.

Wishing everyone here an especially nice day.

Glad the storm calmed for your jab, @pam.🌈
Ironing board? I haven't ironed in years. You're a better woman than I am. (y)
Kiss to Rocco.🥰
:cool: Youngest son has just gone out to buy me a new ironing board. I am one of those that irons everything in sight. 😁 Possibly because I don't have a tumble dryer so most things do require an iron. Good thing that I don't mind ironing.

Rocco says hello. 🐶

Oooops! I'm late! I wanted to post this before going into town this morning! (my bad!)

@Pam iron?!!!! I own a table top board, and I have a brand new iron.....never taken out of the box! Ironing is absolutely the last thing on my to-do list! I would rather have a root canal! LOL. If you enjoy it, I'm happy for you! Hi Rocco!

@Medusa bull riding is a rough sport. I admit that I don't care for it, but only because I feel sorry for the bull....the "sport" is not fun for them.

@Kaila hang in there! Some days are rougher than others, but I know you got this! 1759861340235.jpeg

Yes, there's an ongoing debate on that subject. The bulls are treated extremely well being the valuable creatures they are. If I were to worry about a sport that is unkind to bulls, personally, I would look at bull fighting, which is actually cruel.

I'm not going to engage about this further.

@Pam
That was wonderful as always, to read your post about your days, plus thank you for telling us those interesting details regarding how the grocery deliveries are handled there.
How helpful that service truly is!
Glad it's helpful for you in your situation, as well. 🤩

@Medusa
It truly brings thankful tears to my eyes to read what you wrote about myself and this thread. Thank you so much.

@RadishRose
I Loved that quotation and what you wrote for me, the other day , which I appreciated so much, as well.

Hello to everyone,
My good news update, it's that p.t. was very helpful for me today. It felt so good to get back there after the time off i had to take for my other 3 necessary appointments.

We have to backtrack and shift the p.t. plans due to the setback I've been experiencing, but i regained hope today, and regained some confidence, while there today.

I'm thankful that this p.t. has specialized skills with neuro-related and chronic conditions.
I had to miss all last week but
I'll go a 2nd time later this week.

I agree with you. It was the kidney belt that bothers me.

But you are right....they are very well cared for!!! It's an excitingly sport, and the riders are skilled athletes!

That is heartwarming news! Wonderful to hear that things went so well! 💕

Kaila, do you have to pay any extra fees for physical therapy? We have a basic amount in our health plan for 12 sessions. Once that runs out, it’s pricey. DH is spreading his treatments out. They were very helpful so the extra was worth it.

Good morning, K-Posse. Everyone good today? I had a ton of work to catch up on so far this week, so I've not been around as much... but still peeked in as often as I could. I'm so glad to hear that your p.t. went well yesterday and was helpful, Kaila! Regaining hope and confidence is a very good thing to happen. Anything going on for you today, or will it be a day of rest?
