I sure do know that smiley. Three successful children, all retired and living a good life and taking good care of mom and dad.
 
That turn table sure shows a lot of character to it. My hubby still has his 1st original
stereo system from his 1st major purchase of one. I really think he will request it to
be along side him when that day comes.
 
got too many connections and wire comin out of my pc ; keyboard and mouse don't know if I am arthur or martha - off to the shops on thursday to buy more connections and replacements - they love seeing me - call me the big spender!!

you know what Pappy..I've long been a fan of country music..it's hugely popular particualrly in Scotland and Ireland among us Celts. and even to the musicians whose biggest hits were before we were born....like Merle Haggard, Carl Smith..Ferlin Huskey etc.. but I never could understand the popularity of Kitty Wells... Just my Opinion... the same with Wilma lee and Stoney Cooper... never thought they could sing in tune tbh..

That said I'm a fan of their daughter, Carol Lee.. who up until recently was a backing singer for most country bands of that Era...

Has anyone tried pure cranberry juice? I bought a bottle to help see if it would help with my enlarged prostate problem. Took a big swig of it and had to spit it out. I swear it tasted like vinegar. Since then I have tried adding sugar, honey and water. It still taste horrible. The rest will be going down the drain I’m afraid.
Today has been quiet here at the Robinsnest. That what I call this apartment. My daughter came over this morning and we chatted for about 2 hours. We enjoyed a cup of coffee and made a hair appointment for my wife. She just turned 65 and has been working from home 4 days a week. She will cut it down to a day and a half so not to mess up her social security.
You would never know we live in an apartment building. It’s so quiet here. Thank God.

I absolutely 100% do NOT know if this is good advice, Pappy, so we'll call it an "Information Announcement." 😁 But there *are* cranberry capsules. No idea if they're good to use or not, but I've read about them. I also know that some have *way* more mgs than is considered safe, so it would have to be researched... probably a good idea to ask doc if it would be beneficial for you.

The rain has stopped but it is pretty dreary out there. It’s 52 degrees at 7:15 am. I have nothing planned today but must take garbage out. Didn’t go yesterday because it was pouring rain outside.

I’m just enjoying my alone time and having my coffee. I usually wake Thelma up a little after 8 am. She requires much more sleep than I do. I mostly get 5 to 6 hours of sleep at night.

Had to return my new Bluetooth radio I got. The sound quality didn’t justify the price I paid for it. Still waiting for Amazon to put money back in my account.

I absolutely hate the taste of cranberry juice Pappy so I understand how you felt... ..it means I can't drink it if I get cystitis....
 
My late wife had uti problems all the time, and cranberry stuff
just made it worse, apparently her system just couldn't handle
the cranberry....
