That's a gorgeous dog. I can see the shepherd in her or him, but I wonder what it's mixed with.

Remember when... thirty seemed so old.

Going through some of my computer folders and I came across a short poem I'd had for some of my female fur babies. It made me a little sad to see that there has been so many when I updated the list. And this was only the females.
For Jane, Katee, Judy, Heidi, Sambo, lady bug, patty cake, Penny, Meiska, Lucy and Roxie....
The thoughts that went through my mind,
As I held them in my arms.
Were of the many happy years,
And their oh so many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge,
No, "I love you gaze".
Only my heart thats filled with tears,
And memories of all those days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

My legs are strong again. I can run and jump like I used to.

And there are so many friends to play with.
But I still think about you every day.
I wonder what you’re doing.
I hope you’re eating well.
I hope you’re smiling again.
I know you miss me.
I miss you too.

Exactly the day Oscar was put to sleep I was sent these prints of his nose and paw in the sympathy card.
I knew that nose right away from kissing the top of it everyday for 13 years.
