Guys - Do you dye that grey right out of your hair?

I always had mousy hair, and as such a lot of the grey doesn't really show.

But I've no issue with my hair turning grey. I may look older, but then, I am older. So....

Interesting factoid: Hair doesn't really turn grey. It looks grey because of a lack of color. As we age, we stop producing the melanin that colors hair, making it translucent, which appears as grey.

A fedora hat covers hair loss, thinning hair and colour loss. It will be worn tonight and changed to something far more dramatic at the venue that we are going to. The dramatic change of hat you can see over on The Halloween Thread.
The fedora sates my vanity, no need to colour what's left of the thatch. Back in my twenties I grew a beard to cover a mole on the side of my chin. Years later the first white whiskers started to sprout, off came the beard, perhaps the mole wasn't so prominent. Vain? Who me?
 
If I bothered to dye my hair, I'd go funky. Blue. Pink. Green. Why not? :D

It is a strange thing. I feared going bald as a teen (early baldness ran i my family). But I still have a full head of hair today. If I didn't look like a criminal bald, I'd shave it all off. Who has time for hair at our age?!?!

INSERT: Women with nice hair is great. So my comment is completely sexist.

My husbands head was bald on top with grey on the sides and back. I found him very attractive. Bald and grey works well on most men. Unfortunately society insists women should have a full head of hair and no grey or white. I think that's called a double standard.

It's what's under the bald head that matters. Gray or white looks fine to me. Also women can look good with gray or white hair. It depends on what's under their hair that matters. Mine is still brunette but it's starting to get salt and pepper. I have no desire to color mine. I like being natural.
 
I use something called Control GX that gradually dyes the hair so the gray still shows. It doesn't look odd like the old dyes guys used to use that turned their hair yellow. After a haircut, my hair is mostly gray and I kinda like it but I guess I'm just a creature of habit.

Hubby was dying his hair up until a couple of years ago when his sister was going through chemo and lost her hair. Then he went from black to pure white in solidarity. He is turning 60 in a few days. I'm kinda happy about his gray because I just turned 68. We were having lunch in assisted living a few years ago with my mother and she introduced me as her son. The guy said "that must be your grandson then".:ROFLMAO: Here's a pic of a handsome guy with white hair. I think I'll keep him.

My other half is not ready for the grey haired old lady look, just yet. Her hair colour was auburn, nowadays it's red, in your face, kick-ass red. Bold and assertive, it attracts many compliments.
