I am dodging my second workbook right now. 🥸 Better to do it when I'm feeling it more, anyway.

It's 09:30 and I am behind schedule, but I'm not gonna stress about it. It will smooth out over the course of the day.

Hope everyone is feeling good this Sunday and @Kaila, that you've been able to continue with rest. 👽

Good morning, everyone. Not been around that much other than putting a few likes etc. on posts. I've been watching a Star Wars movie and Star Trek Strange New Worlds series one which has just become available on ITVX player here in the UK. 🖖 I do like a bit of sci-fi.

As well as that, I've been doing a bit of cross stitch, I'd put it to one side thinking I had plenty of time to get it finished by Christmas... I don't think that is going to happen. :cool:

Rpcco was here early today so we've already been for a short walk. He's now had his breakfast and is fast asleep. I might do a bit of cross stitch while he is quiet.

Here's hoping everyone is well and that you have had another good sleep @Kaila 🤗🥕🥕

It was freezing on the first walk today! Yeesh, I needed gloves and didn't have them. 🥶

@Pam, what do you think of Strange New Worlds? I'm a bit of a Trekkie (though not a fan of Next Gen. or Discovery).

@Pepper, so true! Kinder words, within and without, seems a worthy undertaking. So nice to see you here! ♥️

@Medusa I am enjoying Strange New Worlds so far. (y) Didn't mind Next Generation but not one of my favourites. Unfortunately, I have never seen Discovery, had a google and it would appear that it was only shown in the UK via Netflix or some other subscription services and I don't subscribe to any at all. My all time favourite was Star Trek Voyager.... Capt Janeway, Seven of Nine etc. Least favourite series that I've seen was Enterprise with Scott Bakula. That just never grabbed me at all.

It's not a big deal that you can't watch Discovery, trust me on this. :rolleyes: Tedious.

Voyager is my fave too! Tuvok, Janeway, Seven, Kess and the gang. :) - I've read a few books based on the series that were also very good and some from, the Picard series that extend Seven's story and flesh it about a bit.

I understand it's not a popular series in general, but I enjoyed Enterprise; Phlox and The Doctor (from Voyager) are my favorite doctors in the series. And I loved the way the Andorians and Klingons are portrayed in that series. :)

I'm listening to a book based on the movie, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986). Fun to revisit the original crew.

It was challenging to get to a therapy session via a traffic jam, today. 🙄

Then, I stopped at a special pharmacy on the way home, for non- script items, and that was even more challenging.
They were Out of our most needed item, their computer was down, payment methods messed up..... numerous issues there, which turned a brief stress-free stop into an exhausting, difficult one. 🙁😬🤯😵😵‍💫🥴

I'm glad I got to my appointment,
( not glad about the other stop)

I also took a few moments to enjoy simply being outdoors, in any sort of weather.

Good morning, @Kaila and all. Bit of a rainy day but still quite mild at 57F..yes, even though the UK has been using Celsius for decades, I am still on fahrenheit. I think I'm a bit of a dinosaur as I also work in feet and inches rather than centimetres. i just can't visualise something if I'm told it's x number of centimetres. Am I bothered.....No. 😃

Going to have a quick play in word games before Rocco arrives then we'll go for a short walk. He won't want to go far in the rain, even though is not heavy, plus my friend is coming round mid morning for a coffee and catch up.

Good morning, Kaila & Friends. Once again I've not been online much... still dealing with having no heat and it's wearing me down fast. The house was 58 overnight and it will take long for the space heaters to start doing anything. One of the things was supposed to finally be done today but the worker doing it has the flu, I've been informed. Getting harder to keep positive. BUT I shall. (y)

Slight change of plan for me, Rocco not coming until late morning so his 'mum' will take him for a walk before he gets here. And my friend messaged to say she will be here soon as she had forgotten she's got a physio appointment just after midday. So, it's a swap round really.

In better news, boyfriend returns this morning (well, morning for me). He's on the train now, actually. Yay! 🥳

Thank you for the blanket and coffee, @Medusa ! I had an update a while ago that the heating contractor is now in the hospital with pneumonia and I seriously don't know what to do. And it's snowing. When it happens that things feel overwhelming, I sometimes shut down emotionally and feel that starting to happen, sooooo, if I'm quiet for a little while, it won't be for long. Love you guys and gals, and I'll be back to bug y'all just as soon as I can focus again. :giggle:
